Approx 20,450 sold in home areas so far which is already more or less what we sold for the Forest game. I'm expecting good sales this week following the win at Villa.

Sheffield have sold out their away allocation.

Looks set for a gate of around 25,000. Had this been a 3pm kick off and not televised I'm pretty sure it would have been another sell out.

Has reffed us twice this season; 2-2 at Sheff Wed in October and the 2-1 defeat at Blackburn on New Years Day.

I'm sure he's listed as being from West Midlands, seems to ref our games like he can't be accused of bias by giving the opposition everything.

We have the better players so should win but it doesn’t always work out like that.  No reason why we can’t put 4 or 5 past them, even Villa managed 3!

I think everybody is in agreement, our best XI are the ones put forward by Fritzl and Atomic above. For me, at home, it's about how we play these players. I'd be inclined to play Gayle through the middle, we have to try a different approach at home because our current approach isn't working. I wouldn't want to deviate from the back 4 so adapting what we do now is probably the answer.

I agree with the above teams.

The back 5 pick themselves.

Phillips in the middle with Harper and Barry.

Gayle Murphy and Jay up top.

Have a feeling DM will play it a little more cautious than that though. Think Livermore may start the game ahead of Phillips for this one. Also wouldn't be surprised to see HRK potentially start ahead of Gayle for his physicality.

The team mentioned above should be enough to take the game to Shef United and get our home form back on track.

Just popped on to a Sheff United forum, some interesting comments:

They're the best team in the league for me. Said before the season started they'll win it and I think they still will. Ridiculous squad for this level, 4 England internationals plus various other multi million players

Well they look very average/ underwhelming in this game.
 Play like tonight and we’ll beat them by at least 2 goals.

Oh well, they’re sh*t anyway, play like like that against us and they’ll know about it

West Brom are the best team I've seen this season at the Lane and they're destined for the top two.

We’ll tear these a new ar**hole, we are a different beast these days.

If we play our normal game we will definately win, it should be pretty easy based on what I saw tonight.
 It has made me wonder if it was a deliberate ploy to make us feel over confident.

Not saying you're wrong but after such a long lay-off, Phillips does need minutes to get back up to speed so I'd start him even if he doesn't play the 90.

Villa had Taylor in the line up at left back for 90 mins too  .
