When we pipped Bolton to promotion many moons ago I recall them losing a home game  to a team in Rotherhams position, football teaches you to never take anything for granted.

Bolton amazingly lost 1-2 at home to second bottom club York on Tuesday 13 April 1976. York had previously only won away once all season. The result that opened it up for Albion to win promotion at Oldham 11 days later.

If Leicester get through to semis, our game against them on April 20th will need to be rearranged.

Will it be a sell out? Tickets are available in every section of the ground, outside of SME.

Stoke moved from 3pm on a Saturday to noon on a Sunday after the initial TV dates were released boils my waters. Massively  >:( .

And mine. The championship picks for that weekend (games on Saturday 16th and Monday 18th December) were announced by Sky on October 19th.

Then they decide three weeks later to revisit that weekend and move the Albion game too, when most if not all people would have assumed there would be no more disruption and made arrangements accordingly.

At the very least they could have said there might be another game picked.

According to Sky TV guide, Man Utd v Arsenal in WSL has trumped Blues v Albion next Friday and been given star billing on Sky Sports Main Event (we are confined to Sky Sports Football).

Albion played in blue and white at Bristol City (and Boro and Forest) for decades until recent seasons. It is not compulsory to wear a (horrible) away kit every time we play away.

We are depriving fans of other teams round the country the opportunity to see the famous blue and white stripes.

Warnock said in his post match interview that he decided to play two up front. This bold approach paid off for him.

Well if he is ,why keep repeating and why bring Townsend back in ??

Pieter's was ill apparently, which would explain the recall of Townsend.

One of the reasons for bringing in Pipa must be to dovetail with Wallace on the right side in a way that Furlong doesn't.

We hopefully will see an improvement in Wallace's game once he develops an understanding with Pipa.

Yep. Peace sold us to the highest bidder but he was always going too. He's in no way responsible for the 7 years of destruction caused by Lai. 2 separate things

Peace can't be absolved of responsibility for year one (16/17). He picked up a generous salary as 'adviser' up to 30 June 2017, during which the disastrous appointments of Williams and Goodwin were made - the ramifications of which were felt during later years.

Think I'd be careful of reports from media, bear in mind these are specialists in reporting sport not finance. Almost all of their information is second hand.

That's the media for you. Always dipping in and out.

Birmingham Mail reports:

It's understood that while the interest rate will continue to pile up in the period of time that it isn't repaid, the 2.35% is only secured against the original £2m sum borrowed by Lai through Holdings.

The £3.7m loan JP took out of the club to enrich himself is the thing that galls me the most.

His salary was such that he didn't need to use the club's money (which otherwise would have been available for transfers in the summer of 2014) and he certainly could afford to repay it once he had pocketed his £200m.

Coventry sold over 18,000 season tickets. We may struggle to match that.

Bomber deserves recognition in the honours list for service to one club over such a long time. There have been other sportsmen who have received honours for much less.

Don't understand that reply?

Allegedly, we have sold around 16500 season tickets, both you & "68" have referenced an aproximate 4000 of concessions. I'm wondering where you got that information from?

I said earlier on in this thread that might be the case, so the numbers might be up, but the income won't be.
Important, when around 25 to 30% of our income will be from ticket sales this year.

4,000 of the 16,500 are under 17 season tickets. That leaves 12,500 - of which some will be other concessions (17-19, 20-25 and seniors).

Where are you sourcing this data?

Just looked on the 0S, and the areas in front of the Brummie & in the East Stand are showing the usual gaps.

Don't need a source to tell me that of the remaining 12,500, some are going to be  from the other concession groups.

It is less than 12,500 full paying adults once you have deducted the 17-19 and 20-25 concessions.
