If you do some more digging online you'll find out what it's about...

I'm sorry, I'm confused by this. Are you saying that the club are expecting a blacklash to the away kit? How bad does a kit have to be for the club to expect us to be super livid? They've essentially taken the stripes this summer already....

I would have expected a Red and Black version of the home one, but that's just a lazy guess.

The club aren't expecting a big backlash, why should they? It's an away kit.

I've been told today the club expecting big backlash and it's not good

Nope, sorry but that's incorrect. It's red and black pinstripes.

If this reassures anyone, Gamboa has favourited this tweet:

Afición! Nos acaban de confirmar que el día de mañana tendremos la foto de @Cris_GamboaCR vestido con los colores del @WBAFCofficial ATENT@

In other words, "we will have a picture of Cristian Gamboa in WBA colours!"

He is as good as signed there is nothing to worry about. Tomorrow will be the day he is announced by the sounds of things.

He signed his contract on Wednesday!

The meaning of what you've written is that you think he won't sign for us, but I guess that's not what you meant to say?!

No the meaning of my quote is that I believe the transfer will go through...

The fee has been agreed and player wants to come - I think they're just sorting out the legal bits at the moment. He has a young family, and the club are trying their best to help sort things out on that side too.

Will be announced shortly I assume.

Exactly - I think the deal will go through regardless of who he belongs to.

I've no reason to disbelieve the transfer won't go through.

Let's look at this from a different angle.

How must the Astle family be feeling? Couldn't even get the club to play a part in the Justice For Jeff campaign and now Bomber is getting a statue.

The club are playing their part in the Justice for Jeff campaign now.

Paul Brown is Bomber's son, not Graeme Brown.

I know, you've already told us.
 :D.
And then you come back on and continue a thread that you will happily read, and yet see no point in.
 :D.
Wow, you must be as bored with pre season as I am.
COME ON YOU BAGGIES!!!!!!!!!!
I would have started a rendition of when the stripes go marching in, but there does not seem to be too much point in that now either. Oh hang on, there I go again.
 ;).

Well my point kind of beats the we're not pinstripe brigade anyway. And Jesus Christ yes I am bored

I'll happily read it but why is it still a discussion that's relevant? Kit has been unveiled, deal with it if you don't like it.

I don't remember reading that the stripes have to be a certain thickness anyway...

Are we still having a discussion over this? If you don't like it, don't buy it. But they are stripes, and I don't remember seeing any official document anywhere stating we must have stripes over a certain thickness....

Maybe both?  :P

I've seen the kit, not the sponsor. Heard it could be Cobra beer but not 100% sure on that...

Not going to lie, that's a bloody brilliant campaign title.

I'd like to meet the guy who did that along with the guys who write witty headlines.

Picture the scene, Monday Morning 9am:

'Morning Bob, West Brom have finally got their act together, we need a slogan for this pinstripe shirt everyone hates, any ideas?'

'Together through thick and thin. See you tomorrow.'

Take it from me, it would've taken a lot more creative (people that come up with ideas and put them in to reality for the people that aren't aware of my industry, or those that say it's not a 'proper job') sitting around a table to come up with that.

I work for VW and would be chuffed with this but can't see it. They sponsor Wolfs in Germany though :D

They don't sponsor Wolfsburg, they own it

Well i am telling you all now if they bring it back the yellow & green every now and then it will sell. Its only you young uns that like black or red which is not traditionally Albion that dont like it.Oh and the sky blue shorts as well please thank you very muchias

It WON'T sell, hence why it hasn't been bought back. The yellow/purple GK shirt is a smart shirt, but I'm too rotund to pull off that look!

As I've previously stated, away is red and black, possibility of a third kit.

and like i say it always wins a poll on any site. Its time to bring it back
I always see plenty in the stands when its out anyway

Figures over the last few years have proven that the Yellow & Green doesn't sell so they won't have it. Simple. Move on!
