I agree Ian but I think the tide is turning, the saga over the managers Villa are failing to attract proves it

What would people do if roy left for fulham, mick quit wolves, and we approached him?.

I'd be more upset if we got Mcleish from Villa to be honest.  :(

What have Villa won lately?

Lol

Villa
Albion/Wolves
Blues
Walsall

Villa have won the European cup, I don't think many people know though because they never seem to mention it.

What a pathetic group of fans, no wonder the only manager interested in joining them is one that relegated his team twice.

I had a text this morning off my mate in London and he reckons Albion v Villa is the first game of the season. Obviously it could be wrong and don't shoot the messenger but he was right last year and knew we'd got West Ham. Others he said were Norwich v Wolves and Blues v Millwall.
Did you know we won the European Cup?

How many of these who claim they won't renew a season ticket will be rushing out at Chrsitmas to get a half season one if they have a decent Carling Cup run and are in a decent league position in November ?

A bloke who as managed at international level, managed a title winning side (albeit in Scotland) and won a trophy for the rivals more recently than villa have done anything is not 'big' enough for Villa.

Rijkaard and Ancelotti are crying themselves to sleep at night after missing out on this job.

If it was us and McCarthy i'd be gutted that McCarthy has done nothing in his managerial career other than get wolves promoted and kept them up twice and was even considered becasue of that track record. McLeish has done better hence why he is being considered.
