Sam Johnstone in goal for Palace today...

I don't fancy their chances.

Winning 4-1. BBC said SJ had a good first half.

Palace win 5-1 in the end.

2 wins out of 2 for Roy. What a manager.

Can't believe Bruce thought that Button was an adequate replacement for Sam Johnstone who had an excellent first half for Palace today.

Overall he was a decent keeper for us. He wasn't the best keeper ever and got a bit flustered under pressure at times but was pretty good most of the time.

He is a decent keeper. Bit of a fall guy on here for some but decent nonetheless.

Vile are3 up against Newcastle. Whatever you think of them they know how to run a football club, what an appointment Dick Emery is turning out to be…😖

I said we should have gone in for Watkins when we had the chance.

All rivalry aside, I disagree. They've had owners who have poured hundreds of millions into them much like Lerner did back in the day, with little to show for it. Year on year, their net spend is often around the top 4 in the Premier League. In short, lots of players and managers going in and out like a revolving door until they got Emery who is genuinely a quality manager.

I'd say the likes of Brentford and Brighton are genuinely well-run clubs, whereas Villa are more akin to a billionaire's play thing.

It's a mix of both for me.

Villas owners pump money into it time after time but they do care and take interest.

Lai is a walking disaster with or without money

Fulham announce season ticket prices for next season.
Cheapest ticket up from £1,100.00 to £3,000.00.

These prices are only for their new Riverside stand. There are cheaper seats elsewhere in the grounf.

Reassuring to know the good folk of Fulham will still be able to afford their pre match Proseccos and Victoria Sponge Cakes, a slice of good fortune for them and a crumb of comfort for us all in these challenging times. The world is immediately a better place.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

There are a fair few jokes doing the rounds based on Fulham fans having jobs in financial services and the Stock Exchange, allegedly.

They have trebled their prices?? Amazing. They do not deserve to sell a single ticket.

Yeah, I don't think it's that bad, not that I really agree with it. Imagine you sold out 25k seats every game, then added an extra 5k that cost way more than the others. It doesn't really change anything for the fans that were already attending. Plus, let's be honest, Fulham are probably a handful of clubs in the entire country where their fans could afford such a rise. Again, I don't really agree with it, but it's not a typical scenario comparable to normal clubs.

Jacob Murphy makes it 1-0 to Newcastle vs Spurs after 2 minutes and then 3-0 after 8 mins with a worldie. He looked so poor for us in his short loan spell, yet now he is starting and scoring for a side who will almost certainly get top 4 in arguably the most competetive league in the World.

Much like Joelinton who got the 2nd after 5 mins, sometimes you can't judge footballers when they play in a non functioning team like Bilic's was the second half of that season. We are so quick to write players off after they lose in a changed 11 cup tie vs a lower league side, but it means nothing if the assortment of players you are combined with aren't set up right. Not in pro football.
