If Burnley come down, I think they'll be an even bigger basket case than us.

They have 9 players out of contract in the summer (it was 10 until Jay Rodriguez signed a new deal), and that includes defensive due Tarkowski and Mee. The loans they used to purchase the club could be called in (something like £65 million), and I can't see an England international (Pope) wanting to stick around.

Good point. Burnley would be right in the doo-doo

Any relegated club will have to have a structure in place in order to adjust. Leave the championship for more than two seasons and the changes that a club has to undertake us immense. Norwich will have been planning/expecting this since last year. Burnley/Everton/Leeds not so much.

Red card changed it all as you'd expect. Moment of madness from the young CB for Everton

Everton come from 2 0 down to lead Palace 3-2 with 1 minute left. Will be between Burnley and Leeds for the final relegation spot if it stays that way

Everton win and are safe.

I think I'd like Burnley to come down out of them and Leeds are people are saying they are in big financial doo doo if they come down

Burnley are at home to Newcastle, Leeds are at Brentford.

You'd think Burnley have the slight advantage but funny things happen on the last day of the season.

would prefer Leeds to be relegated as their fans have a 'big time charlie' attitude.....and it's nearer to me than Burnley!

If it's true Burnley are in deep muck in event of relegation and needing a decent rebuild I'd rather come up against them than Leeds personally

Just saw the Vieira "assault", more like self defence if you ask me.

I have a soft spot for Leeds, their fans are genuine and hardcore, they do sell out every game home and away, and have had some sh111t football to watch over recent years. There was a mutual respect when we both went up too, which was rare!

For me I want to see City win the league as Liverpool winning the quad would be unbearable, and Leeds to stay up

I wanted Everton to go down, so as to put an end to their 'big time charlies' attitude. Not really bothered whether its Leeds or Burnley.  Think the superior football of Bielsa more suited to the PL than the primitive kick and rush of Dyche, but don't know enough about the new managers football styles to have an opinion.

If you get on the pitch and confront anyone, you get what you deserve. 5 year ban and if you touch a player or mouth off, self defense is a simple preventative measure. Thought Vieira restrained himself. The "fan" got lucky.

The relegation situation could become messy, with both Burnley and Leeds threatening to sue the PL if they go down, because they feel that Everton have hugely fallen foul of spending limits and the PL have done nothing about it. On the surface, it appears that they have a case to be honest.

Just reading an article in the Athletic about the various bonuses each club pays out to its squad members.

Norwich recently took up the option on Pukki for 1 year but he was only player in squad with no flex down, everyone elses reduction ranges from 40-60 percent, so if they can't sell him he will still be on 50k per week in the EFL.

Man Utd players in line for 25% wage cut for missing out on CL.

Oohh Burnley go 1-0 down though, so they are currently down. At least it's a decent last day for a change.
