Well if Newcastle don’t win surely this kills their confidence!

Simple header for Wilcock. Missing Dawson's height.

Hate Steve Bruce grrr he couldn't even get Villa promoted with Grealish in the Side useless but now when his Job is the on line show some form of being competent. We all found out  useless you were ages ago.

Wolves beating Sheff Utd 1-0 with 12 mins to go. If the blades lose they are officially relegated.

Happy with that result really. We want Sheff Utd to go down with a bit of a hangover next season and they are currently on a 6 game losing streak with only the single goal in those games.

Only 6 sides have finished with sub 20 points in the premier league era (from what I can see) and only one of those (Sunderland in 2007) have immediately returned to the premier league, which shows how hard it is to shake that losing feeling.

They still have some winnable games in their last 6 but equally they have a few sides who still have something to play for.

Also quite pleasing to see them relegated the same day that Norwich go up. I remember a few smug comments last season from Blades fans saying how good it was for the premier league to have “clubs like us, Leicester and Wolves” who are prepared to come and “have a go instead of making up the numbers like Norwich” off the back of a good half a season.

When have Newcastle ever played like they did today really hate Bruce I want to turn of MOTD already at that Smug looking ex Villa fraud of a manager he has a few talented players at Newcastle they should be higher like 13th not Scrapping Relegation. Rafa got more out of a worse squad than this fraud if we go down to him I will be so angry.

Harry Kane has now overtaken Robbie Fowler to become the 7th highest goal scorer in Premier league history. It’s entirely probable that he will go third in the list before the end of next season (if he stays fit).

It did lead to me seeing a discussion on Twitter bemoaning Sky’s whitewashing of football history by only talking about football post 92 and showing the alternative list of all time top flight goal scorers if you count goals pre 92. I don’t know why, but I was really surprised to see that Ronnie Allen is the 8th highest top flight goal scorer of all time.

The lists are as follows:

All time:

Greaves
Shearer
Lofthouse
Rush
Herd
Cottee (the one that shocked me the most)
Hurst (also surprised me as I thought his reputation was meant to be a bit padded thanks to his exploits in 66)
Allen
Rooney
Law

Prem only:

Shearer
Rooney
Cole
Augero
Lampard
Henry
Kane
Fowler
Defoe
Owen

as the Premier league was strapped on top of the old EFL system, wouldn't pre 92 records be matched to the championship down? PL has always treated itself as a semi separate league.

That will really hurt Fulham.

Do we think Burnley and Brighton are out of this?

Fulham were lucky with their penalty, the forward looked like he dived. Also Arsenal had 2 goals ruled offside.

Didn't catch what they said in comms but they haven't won a lot of games in last 15 . Expect them to just have enough but another for us to aim at . Need Chelsea to show against Brighton.
