I’m with you Atomic. From my first experience of relegation in 1973 through to today I’ve eventually learned the best way of coping is to have no expectations.
And let’s be realistic - an amazing result at Chelsea, but we’ve won 4 out of 30 games. Poor teams sometimes have a good day but are rarely able to put consistently good performances together, and by any measure we are a poor team.
I can’t affect the results either way, so I try to stay relaxed. I’m getting too old to be able to cope with the worrying.
