Chelsea are after a young french free agent centre back who they will send on loan. Would be worth a call from us I think. Offer first tram foootball and a modest buy out. Some of the Chelsea loan stories have been horrific, surely some players wouldn’t want it.

Leeds also bidding for Leon Bailey apparently. Seems they are ignoring the pandemic and going all out to ensure they stay a premiership team for the foreseeable.

Interesting to read that whilst we moan about our transfer activity and budget others are having problems too . Ancellotti apparently not too happy , Wolves telling Nano he has to raise his own funds, seems we are not on our own!

Wolves have a net spend of 180m in 3 seasons. It has to stop somewhere. We are about 20m UP on transfers in 2 seasons yet we have no money.

Don't think Wolves fans will be moaning. They invested and secured themselves in the top flight. Fair play to them

Thought Maitland Niles looked pretty decent on the rare occasions I've seen him play. A potential fee of £20 million for him shows what we're up against in terms of transfer fees though.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Leeds signing Rodrigo from Valencia. Great goals and asissts record in la liga last season. Seems a solid signing and I reckon the fee will be reasonable due to Valencia's financial situation.

Their cash flow is boosted by having a bigger fan base than a lot of teams. Helps being the only team in a big city, kind of like Newcastle.

They are probably taking out loans against the Premier League money too - which is OK, so long as you keep the money coming in.

They have no matchday revenue to come, will hit them harder than us. There is only so much merchandise they can sell.

So seems they are taking an educated risk. That makes sense.

Eze to Palace for £16m. About the same price we paid for Burke 3 years ago.

I reckon he will be in contention for England by next summer. Imagine him and Zaha on your flanks.

[Edit] John Percy has clarified that it is worth up to £19.5m.

I read that he ran up a bill of over £60,000 for eight people. It included for drinks and food, but mainly drinks

Saw some of the court reports in the Maguire case and I have to say I am not entirely surprised that he was found guilty. His defense sounded like the plot for a bad B movie. I doubt the Greeks will be overly keen to keep him big fine suspended sentence and don't bother coming back anytime soon arsehole.

Never going to happen, but I think he might get a lot of stick from the terraces [when we are eventually back] for years to come......

Just watched the news and it is claimed 2 Albanians tried to inject his sister with an unknown substance.

My thoughts are why did he not have a private party?

I know when my little sister has been injected by random Albanians that I find the best way to make sure she's OK is to fight the police.
