We'll be fine. Our form hasn't been awful, just an expected loss to city and a shock home defeat to QPR has everyone panicking again. I'm sure we're better than to lose two at home on the trot. I expect a point this Saturday and then another point at palace. All we need, IMO, is 3-4 more points.

Plus Villa have an extra game to play, and against a forceful Liverpool team.
Any injuries or red/yellow cards will cost them.

its inevitable that some vile players will be "saving a bit" for the big game too.
I think hope this cup run could contribute to them going down!

Eventually it happened to Wigan and Birmingham.
Too many games and not a big enough squad due possibly to finances.

Bet he would rather be on the bench for Chelsea on better money than play for west brom in a relegation battle every season

He‘d be on loan at Tranmere had he still been here. No way would he be getting game time here.

Thank you for posting this.
Quite possibly the best news I have had this weekend.
How sad that I am having to rely on the misfortunes of QPR et.al, to steer us clear of a situation we should have avoided weeks ago.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Just looked at Sky Sports Score Centre and that stats showed Chelsea had only 1 shot on target during the game, QPR had 4. They also had more shots off target but at least they had a go. Why cant we do that.

Yes it's quite desperate when you resort to hoping results go your teams way. In regards to QPR I believe they could get a total of 9 more games, that is if they win all three of their home games (West Ham, Stoke then Leicester). Their away games are Man City and Arsenal. 9 points would put them on 34 - which means we still need 2 more points to finish above them. I had Burnley to finish on 35 too so we still desperately need that win.

Utd just beat City 4-2. Pellegrini will surely be gone at the end of the season.
