Mourinho continues to have the Indian sign over Wenger, His mind games obviously worked as Wenger ended up pushing him ;D. Be interesting to see what the FA does about that.

Anyone else feel that Lukaku hasn't really progressed since leaving us? It probably doesn't help that Martinez insists on him going out wide but watching Everton games he doesn't seem to have that effect on a game that he did while at Albion.

I dont think the Everton midfield are giving him enough support at times.

Arsenal did look a lot stronger Yesterday but they still lack that steel which is needed to win those types of games, and that natural finisher.

Lukaku is big strong and he has pace. It suited him the way Albion played for the large part of when he was here, we'd have our two stoppers in midfield, defend deep and there was always lots of space in behind for Lukaku, Long and Odemwingie to expolit.

Everton don't play the same way, a lot more of their game is played in front of the backline so Lukaku doesn't have the same sort of room to run into.

I think he's done fine, personally at Everton but you can see why Chelsea were far from desperate to keep him.

Be worth watching MOTD just for this. I bet the Sunderland keeper will be out for the next game due to injuring his back picking the ball out of the net so many times :D

I've always had the impression that Poyet has had a bit of an easy ride in the media (maybe due to peers who played with or against him). It will be interesting to see what is made of this.

I agree with Barrington.  I'm no lover of Poyet either.

That is an embarrassing defeat and hopefully the club do the right thing and reimburse the 2,700 supporters that made the journey.

Liverpool look woeful today, the passing has been poor, Mario is been as selfish as ever. QPR should be leading in this one, they have had a couple of great chances.

Stoke drawing with Swansea 1-1.

Michael Oliver made a great decision in awarding Swansea a penalty due to Shawcross dragging down Bony at a corner however he was conned about ten minutes when Victor Moses cheated to win his side a penalty.

I'd be sick if I was a QPR fan today. Its those types of things that happens to clubs which are down there at the bottom. A big game at home to Villa next up for QPR.

Just watched MOTD and he was awful. Having said that so were most of his teamates.

Liverpool are a shadow of the team they were without Saurez. AC Milan must be laughing their socks off getting rid of Ballotelli.

Will the FA grow a pair of balls and retrospectively punish Victor Moses. He cheated. No ifs, no buts. Of course, I know as much as everyone else that they won't, but I bloody wish they would.

Completely agree, and will managers grow a pair of balls and be honest, instead of giving it the big 'oh ill defend my team even if i know im wrong' stance. Hughes, you know VM cheated, just be honest!
In other news, another day another two penalties, the singaporean mafia must be happy!

Anyone else think that Sunderland look like a team that will go down this season? The two goals they gave away Yesterday were criminal. It would be great to see Southampton break into the top four this season.

To be fair, they were down last season but for an amazing Houdini act, they're defence seem shot of confidence, especially the keeper & I agree they may well be battling with the 3 promoted teams for relegation.

The QPR - Villa match will be an interesting one on Monday night.

From an Albion perspective, it's always a comfort to see a couple of clubs struggling badly (like Burnley and QPR at present) as it does provide a bit of an insurance policy just in case we went on a bad run of results (not that I'm expecting us too, but you never know what's round the corner), but a QPR win would see us being above Villa in the table for at least another 6 days (and hopefully a lot longer) and is always very pleasant as it really does irritate the hell out of them, which is extremely enjoyable. They are a big club after all? (ha ha)

Finishes 1-1 in the end.

Van Persie with an equaliser in the last minute of stoppage time - Ivanovic sent off.

Chelsea going to romp it i think, What was that spurs fullback doing to  ??? some goals dont quite look right to me and that was one of them at that level do get done so easily straight from kick off so basic could find 100 things wrong with what dyer did there. Good result for Everton Eto was class Burnley look doomed although at times i thought they moved the ball about well just cant see where there goals are coming from.
