I always felt that with the new signings United would always win today. For QPR they had a golden chance at 1-0 they dont look like they have enough goals in them an already a goal difference of -7.

Hope United put a couple more past them.

Cannot stand Redknapp and it might, just might, brighten my weekend.

3-0 at half-time and you would expect Utd to breeze past Qpr. As Liam says cant stand The Spiv. How any Chairman would want him is beyond me!

I predict United will finish in the top four taking the place of Liverpool especially with no Champions League distraction.

I'm not so sure, Suarez leaving is an enormous loss for them. Sturridge and Ballotelli are not in the same class. Lambert isn't good enough. Add to that their defence is very leaky, Gerrard is ageing. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them finish outside the top 4.

No chance of Liverpool dropping out of the top 4.

They look no better than the likes of Everton and Tottenham to me at the moment. I think they will finish 5th behind Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Man U.
Allllllll aboard

And now he's scored. So Alan Irvine, where is Lescott where is Varela, why are you still here? Hull 1-0 West Ham.

Scoring is irrelevant, he ain't had a mini pre-season, he cannot be fit enough !  FFS haven't you got coaching badges???  >:(

They may be fit enough for the bench in March I hear.

I wonder who would get the blame if Irvine chucked all the new signings in the team and one or two of them suffered long term injuries because they weren't fit?

Obviously whoever said they were fit enough?! I think the point people are making is that maybe we are being over cautious?!

The only way to know is to play them in a match. Nobody played tonight for the under 21s so surely we must assume that they are all fit enough? Signed Varela nearly 3 weeks ago

A really good second half and some very good goals too. With regards to Liverpool I wouldn't be surprised if they were out of the top four this season, Mario hasn't done a great deal in his first two games so far. They sill are conceding quite a few goals too.

The Hull City fans that I talk to regularly are sh*tting themselves about beating Newcastle on Saturday as they think Pardew will be sacked and Bruce will be offered and take the job.

I think with the uncertainty around Allam and his putting the club up for sale Bruce may well take the Newcastle job if offered it. It is the team he supports after all and when he's been asked about the Newcastle job all he's said is that it's disrespectful to Pardew to talk about it but he's not said he doesn't want it or that he's happy at Hull etc.
