V excited about this one. Genuine quality addition in an area where we are extremely weak. Fingers crossed he wants to come!

I will be very happy it we take him. It shows intent to bring in a different level of player for mine.
Really hoping he signs Monday and I love it is a permanent being discussed

He and Camacho would really revitalise our midfield and we desperately need the boost.

                                           Yacob             Camacho

                   Phillips                         Morrison                      Chadli

That actually looks like a very good midfield, with a lot better balance and much more creativity.

Chadli wipes the floor with the Phillips and MCleans of our team. His signing would be a real signal that we have some ambition, and some cash to back it up.

Let's hope the lure of Swansea isn't too strong to convince him to go there !

Don't agree re Phillips, but McClean, Gardner, Brunt, Olsson and even Fletcher and Morrison must be getting nervous about their likely pitch time.  But that's inevitable if we want to progress.

Fantastic signing if we can do it, he'd have been very useful in a game like today which needed some creativity in attack.

If we sign him, next stop should be a striker.

Finally some real quality. This is exactly the kind we need to move us on.

Agree at first I thought it was a load deal.
We need to rebuild and refresh.

Why does the medical have to be tomorrow?
It gives Swansea time to nick him...

I don't think Swansea want him to be honest going by recent comments of their manager

I thought along those lines as well Kev. Not just Swansea as others could? Unless terms agreed and signed "Subject to Medical"?
As the club likes to keep it quiet until all done?

In the 2014-15 season when he was regular for Spurs he managed 11 goals and 5 assists in just 28 starts. Pretty impressive stats.

Agreed but then we need a winger to replace James McClean. He played well today but generally he's all effort and no real quality

Totally agree with this but just thought anyone think some of these average players might blossom a bit more with quality players such as Chadli and Camacho round them?
