saying Brighton is quicker and more specific though, much like how we tend to be referred to as West Brom in equal measure to Albion. the media will be trained on this.

I come from the south myself, and everyone down here refers to us as West Brom. I don't come from Sussex  but I'm  sure I've heard journalists from that area talk about Albion meaning Brighton. Given that Brighton is closer to London, it wouldn't surprise me if that Albion gets taken up by London journalists.

They'll probably only be in the league for a season anyway so I wouldn't worry about it.

Looking forward to going to Brighton next season, just hope it's a Saturday 3pm kick off and not some stupid Friday night, Sunday afternoon or Monday night game.

Norwich beating Brighton 2-0. 5 attempts none on target :o. According to the Beeb website Brighton's goalie Stockdale has scored 2 own goals ???

Norwich winning against the champions, if they have any sense they will make Irvine permanent manager.

He's got a very good chance of getting the gig on the way they are going at the moment.

Doesn't want the job , don't forget they also lost 3-1 at home to Fulham playing against 10 men for 45 mins too!

Not own goals as such

Pritchard's shot has hit the crossbar and hit his back and gone in and the same happened when it hit the post and hit his back and went in

I'm hoping it's either Sheff Wed or Huddersfield that come through the play offs as they are both on a direct train line from Hull! Leeds would be okay too for the same reason but they have to get into the top 6 first. I hope it's neither Reading nor Fulham.

Ideally Sheffield Wednesday or Leeds for me. The league would be a better place for having them there. Not Reading though, they are such a pointless team.

Although I've been to Elland Road and never had a problem with Leeds supporters per say, there's something about them which means I'm not overly fussed about facing them again. I think it's because an underlying arrogance abounds.

From my meetings with Sheff Wednesday supporters there was no such underlying arrogance. Strangely enough it was very overt and as such I could live without facing them again too (sorry Liam  ;) ).

Huddersfield supporters I have met were c ocky as naughty word-must be a Yaaarshire thing, which is strange as aside from football I have a lot of time for the people up there.

Not keen on Reading at all, primarily because I've got some really sh it memories when playing them.

Quite liked going to Craven Cottage apart from the cost of beer in the surrounding environs.

On balance and taking the cost of beer down south into the equation I'm not overly keen on any of them   :-X .

I'll let you off on this occasion Dan

Wednesday will bottle the play-offs. I think Reading will do it personally. Really hope not though

Fulham and Sheff wednesday look to be the form sides going into the playoffs, Sheff Wed have drawn 1 of their last 6 winning the other 5 and Fulham have only lost 1 and won 5. Reading have won 4 and lost 2 and Huddersfield have only won 3 of their last 7, losing 3 and drawing 1.

Huddersfield are the only team to have locked up their play off place and as such right now should be favorites for promotion

Reading need a point from two games or they get there if Leeds fail to win either of their last two games. As such they should be 2nd favorites but I really don't fancy them they only need one of their bad days and they could be out in half a game.

Sheffield Wednesday only need to win at Ipswich to make the play-offs if they don't then things get very interesting because they play Fulham on the last day.

Fulham because they have the best goal difference of all the contenders just need to win on Saturday to secure a play-off spot. I think they will be the team that ultimately goes up because they have momentum and can score for fun even if they can be a bit flaky at the back.

Leeds have to win both their remaining fixtures and hope one of the teams above them crumbles under the pressure. Unlikely to make it which is fine by me.

News coming in from Leeds is that Charlie Taylor had refused to play today, Gary Monk has confirmed it. Wonder what his reason is?

No coincidence that the three sides in the mix to get relegated today all had one thing in common and that is absolutely appalling owners. Happy to see Blues stay up but was hoping to see Forest go down as I just can't stand them. Amazed that Brighton managed to throw away the chance to win the league title.
