Reading beat Ipswich 5-1!  :o

They are now in the play offs, Steve Clarke doing a very good job.

He is our most successful manager in terms of league position for three decades and if a few very dodgy refereeing decisions didn't go against him he wouldn't have been sacked when he was in my opinion.

Agreed. I think Ashworth leaving had a big effect.

Blues have got off to a very good start, sitting 4th in the league on 11 points with a game in hand over the other sides, what a job Rowlett has done so far.

Brighton & Cardiff top 2 though which is a surprise.

Wolves sitting in 15th, shame.  ;D

Very poor quality i thought tonight, Poor touches, Weak crosses sloppy in possession.

As much as it pleases me as I dislike Derby I can't see them being anymore than late play off positions at best.

I agree mate, for a game involving two of the 'better' teams in that division, it was very poor quality.

Thought the only threat to come from any player came from Derbys fullback.

Qpr getting whacked tonight 3-0 HT could be 4 or 5 and one of there players got subbed and walked right around the pitch and down the tunnel in protest  ???.

Another club with in house problems I'm guessing.

No Disservice to Fulham they have done extremely well tonight so far. McCormack looks very good.

Rotherham without a manager after they part company with Steve Evans. I hear Alan Irvine is one of the favourites for the job, he would be a very good appointment for them.

Relegated by Christmas if he takes the job there.

Leeds have sacked Uwe Rosler and appointed Steve Evans - a match made in heaven.

One repulsive individual at a club full of repulsive individuals

Cellino's sixth manager in his time there.

Birmingham City doing rather well, up to second, I imagine some of the bigger squads will come to the fore latter in the season, but Blues have a good play off chance.

Yeah there doing good I agree with you I think they will probably drop over the long season but great to see them doing well.

Play offs maybe which is more than what can be said for the dingles.

They are doing well, they can carry on too.
Just because some clubs have bigger squads at Championship level doesn't mean a lot.
If their players are up for it, a lot of "tiredness" goes out the window.

Could you imagine the noise from the seal sanctuary if Villa go down and Blues got promoted. I'm sure we can loan them a few players in January.

That would be the best season ever!

Fair play to the Blues, there is no reason why they cannot continue their good form, they have a good manager who might be able to keep an average set of player playing well above their level. We have seen that before with clubs in the Championship.

Good luck to them I say

I'd prefer Blues to stay down if the Vile were relegated.
Then they could bang on about how much they are looking forward to the re enactment of their 'real' derby game.
I would then look forward to Blues doing the double over them in the League before knocking them out of the League Cup.

I suppose they'd then tell Blue's that the only games which matter are those contested in the Premier League with their oldest Midland adversaries 'Olbyon'. Then when we batter the Vile in the FA Cup Final, I would eagerly await their renewed claims that we don't matter to them anyway, and they'd be happier with promotion the following season.

And so on, and on and on........SOTV.

Tossers.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Well done for deliberately forgetting something else that they would remind us of. ;)

It's possible they could have local derbies against clubs of similar standing - Walsall and possibly Burton
