Dougie Freedman of Forest the latest to be sacked.

Apparently had a bust up with the owner.

They lost 3-0 at home to Sheff Wed yesterday.

Pearson and Clough being linked with the Forest job. That club looks to be in a right mess like a few others, no stability changing managers every year/twice a year, poor form etc etc.

The situation at Boro is strange.Training ground bust ups between manager and players happen a lot but for him them not to be taking charge of the team for the game against Charlton?
I think there's more to it than just a bust up. Boros form has been very hit and mis since jan with 5 wins 3 draws and 6 losses, but the losses have come against Bristol City, Charlton, Rotherham, Forest, Blackburn and Burnley. Out of those I think they would have reasonably expected not to lose to the first 4.

Like Hull it looks like the pressure is getting to them at just the wrong time.

I think there's more to it than just a bust up.

I heard a comment with regard to the Jordan Rhodes signing on Talk Sport either Saturday or yesterday.

Apparently he was a Steve Gibson signing and the boss was not too pleased as he just didn't want him.

Wonder if this could be true.

If so there may have been other unwanted signings, with rumblings and disquiet between players and boss only bubbling to the sufrace now.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Always a strange appointment for me. Tarnished his already weak CV imo.

an a possible "new" record..

http://metro.co.uk/2016/04/04/how-leicester-citys-ritchie-de-laet-could-win-two-titles-in-the-same-season-5794005/

Leicester City defender Ritchie De Laet may be about to pull off a special double.

The defender could be on his way to winning both English football’s top and second tiers in the same campaign.

De Laet made 12 appearances for the Foxes in the Premier League before moving on loan to Middlesbrough, and this could be the first time that a player has won both a Premier League and another English league title in the same year.

With Leicester currently seven points clear in the top flight, and Boro three points – with a game in hand – behind leaders Burnley in the Championship, the Belgian could be about to make history.

Looks like Hull City have blown it. Extremely unlikely to get automatic promotion and I can't see them winning the play offs.Wrong time of the season to have your dip in form; 1 win in 6. I can see Bruce going to Newcastle next season when/if they are relegated.

 I think it will be:
Burnley as Champions,
Boro in 2nd
Sheff Wednesday through the play offs.(they seem to have the momentum)

I think Brighton might be coming  with a well timed run and their fixture at M'boro on the last day of the season could be massive.

Do Sky show highlights of mid weeks games when there is a full schedule in the championship like last night?

The highlights of each game are on their website but you have to watch each individual game separately and watch a 30 second advert before each one!

Is there somewhere I can see a 5 minute round up or something of all the goals from the night?

Many Thanks

Would be nice to see us sign a few of their players too - Lees, Bannan, Lee and Forestieri are superb footballers all of whom would improve our squad.

That aside, I'll be routing for Wednesday to come up alongside Burnley and Middlesbrough.

Is that Barry Bannan who couldn't cut it in the Prem with Palace and Villa? Unless he's become a better footballer in the last couple of years I can't honestly see him improving our squad.

Very tidy footballer and much better in possession than anything we've got.  He's been an absolute steal for Wednesday this year - doesn't get enough goals and probably doesn't carry a big enough presence for a Pulis side unfortunately.
