I read a report on the bbc website asking if teams have devalued the EFL cup. Well after that shambles and what smells like a rat by not televising and how the draw came out.

I think we could safely say 'NO' but that the EFL has!

A real banana skin this one - always difficult when you play a team from lower down!

I remember beating them 3-1 in the cup (I think) It was Zuiverloon and Cox scored and Jo was terrible for them.

I wonder if we can get a decent-ish crowd in for this with low ticket prices, a big team (even though they may rotate) and the expectation of a strong line up for us based on last round.

May not but potential.

Pretty much our cup final. Hopefully they won't take it too seriously with the champions league and this sandwiched in between the two first group games. Actually thinking about it we may have a very good chance because of this

TICKETS for Albion's third round Carabao Cup tie against Manchester City at The Hawthorns on Wednesday September 20 (ko 8pm) will go on sale tomorrow.
Prices will be reduced to £15 adults and £10 concessions up to the day of the game when they will cost £20 adults and £15 concessions.
However, our Smethwick End season-ticket holders will have to re-locate for the fixture as Manchester City have been allocated the whole of the Smethwick End.
Tickets will go on sale on Thursday morning to season ticket holders and members online, in person or by phone (0121 227 2227).
Remaining tickets will then go on general sale on Monday September 11

Decent pricing. Few new signings. Should be a relatively good gate.

Are there any Torquay based baggies going to this match as I am on holiday down there and wouldn't mind a lift up there and back. Mind you I will have to run it past the missus first.
