Under this head coach no

The current crop of players ain't good enough to dishing a hammering out to anyone.

Very poor squad in my opinion and a negative head coach makes it even worse.

No Albion player seems to be making themselves available.

I know it is only a friendly, but why not try to play football?

I genuinely wonder if TP is so set on his system that he tells the team to set up and play as if they were actually playing the top 6.

A nothing match from us.
Burton Albion unlucky to lose.
Will we have more of this dire play from Pulis this season?

Like the look of Hegazi, looks cool, and comfortable on the ball. Early days but we could have a useful player here.

Macmanaman had a lively cameo,at least he's direct when he gets hold the ball.oh I forgot he's part of the pulis bomb squad so he will only feature in the preseason friendlies in an effort to shift him

Or he's just not very good. Struggled to get in Sheffield Wednesdays team.

Think he's no worse than McClean and he gets enough game time,so difference maybe is the tracking back duties

Interesting to hear if we actually created any chances being as we scored from a corner again

I went and thought we were very comfortable overal without over exerting.
Both the new guys looked decent against a battling Burton side. Hagazi looks immense but quite clever with the ball and reading of the game.
Deserved win as we should have been a couple up at half time.
The likes of Phillips and Livermore looked a bit lethargic and no where near match fitness.

I think we created one which hit the crossbar (still not on target).
Possibly could say that their goalie stopped one too.

Two, the whole match against a lowly championship side...It doesn't say much for us.

I've always rated MacManaman and disagree with TP's choice not to use him, but there's pretty good depth at the position so I don't sweat it. Would much rather see Leko get minutes off the bench (if he's not going to go out on loan)
