I'm buzzing for it.

Amsterdam was great last year and it's pretty much the same bunch going again.

Should be a bloody good trip

Heading town to London today for a day on the booze - hotel is booked for tonight for our flight to Santiago tomorrow.

Following Albion abroad is great fun - wish we was in Europe so we could do it more often.

Not the best start for us who flew direct from Heathrow to La Coruna, landing was abandoned very close to the ground due to poor visibility and had to land at Santiago instead.

Jake Livermore reacts to a challenge on Jay Rodriguez and is shown a red card, which was preceded by a yellow seconds earlier. Albion are down to ten men. Rodriguez was almost through on goal before being pulled back by a Depor centre-half.

It depends if the Spanish FA report it to our FA or not. If they do, then it's a ban. If not, then he's free and clear.

Looks like the fanny of a ref has just wasted both ours and Deportivo's time, how is either team meant to work on their shape when they have an uneven number of players?

Mind you, we might need to get used to playing with 10 men because it won't be long before we're down to a 10 man squad.

All over and another good work out for the 10 men who worked aard. The ref didn't help but won't use that as an excuse. Young lads did well and good experience for them.  We'll be ready for next week against Bournemouth.

Who am I kidding! Definitely concerned as another trophy slips through the net.

One of the most ridiculous things I've ever read. Mel woukd of gone on the relegate us the following year. It took him months to get his first win. He would of gone fine as one of the worst managers in our history. I don't usually agree with changing the manager but his removal I was in total agreement with

One of the most ridiculous things I've ever read. Mel woukd of gone on the relegate us the following year. It took him months to get his first win. He would of gone fine as one of the worst managers in our history. I don't usually agree with changing the manager but his removal I was in total agreement with

Ha, it was a joke.

So erm no goals in the for column again and still no win (or anything that looks like one)  since 18th March, I'm sure we'll be firing on all cylinders by next Saturday though  :'(

Mel showed a video of the Al Pacino 'any given sunday' speech as a team talk before a game when managing Albion. What a joke!

Pepe Mel was the worst Albion manager in my lifetime.

Anyway the game tonight seemed a bit crazy with the ref eager to get his cards out. Hopefully we can get a player or two in before next weekend. The squad is bare thin especially with injuries.

He was at Norwich I believe where he took over once Neill got sacked and nearly got them into the play offs with a run of results which included a 7-1 win over Reading. Irvine worked his balls off at Albion while Mel couldn't be arsed so Downing had to take over and keep the ship from sinking. Irvine did ok at Albion, recruitment let him down badly as he was given a load of players nowhere near good enough. Despite of this we were 10th in November but we entered a bad run of form and JP was cutthroat due to Pulis being out of work and knew he was the man to protect his investment.

Point is moot. Irvine wasn't a manager so cannot count in any discussions. He was merely an aberration.

Pepe Mel was in the pub with Albion fans after the game

I've had a great 5 days - plenty of booze and partying. Weather was abit naff at times but the saturday was gorgeous. Don't remember much of the game apart from falling down a few rows of seats whilst heavily intoxicated

Best time of my life Dan

Knee is in a sore state - cuts and bruises all down me legs. There was quite a fee of us which went flying, one of ours took a hefty bang to the head.

Those extremely late kick offs on a saturday did us no favours  ;D

As for Pepe's hand, a man would never kiss and tell, Dan  :-*

You got a link to that mate?

Utter nonsense - there was no trouble whatsoever. There was a group of us, up to about 50, and we had, saw or heard of no trouble whatsoever

We was quite an attraction as plenty of their fans and locals came and had photos with us and our flags once we had hung them up
