I went to the merry Hill store yesterday to pick up mine and my sons new home top and the store manager told me the away kit should be on sale by the end of next week.

A week before the season starts? I should hope so... I could have guessed that without working for the club ???

you’re calling the club childish but throwing a tantrum because they haven’t announced what colour the new kit is going to be. Ironic really. As many have pointed out why release the kits so close together when they can release them across two different pay periods for people and look to sell more of them.
I wouldn't call it a tantrum more a bit of a moan. I can't be the only one frustrated by the speed Albion do things.

I can't believe the interest in a thread about a football strip. Like something from Ripping Yarns.

I heard this some time ago - the source stated a Black or Navy Blue away (with pinstripes) and a Green and Yellow third kit.

Was going to get my little lad his first ever strip (he's 4 months old so more for me to parade him around in than anything) but £40 is crazy. Surely £25 for a bloody babies kit is enough  ..?

The prices are madness for a top that you will just be wearing to maybe go to the match or play football in aren’t they, £50 you could get a decent top you could wear out.

In terms of the children’s shirt £40 is a disgrace.

Not a pop at the club but football in general as it is the same at every club

Doubt it. That's probably the 'pro version'

What’s a pro version ? I saw that the authentic shirt was a lot more expensive then the ordinary shirt. I always thought the ordinary shirt was the authentic one. What’s the difference? Material ?

Will probably get the home kit and the third kit this season with my new ST. Last kit I've got is the red one with black pinstripes when we were sponsored by that Chinese firm

pretty sure £40 is for the full kit, still ridiculous money, wait until Xmas it will be half price.

Depends on the age of the child.

Child's home shirt is forty quid plus twenty two for the shorts.

The infants kit is forty quid but the shorts are inclusive, there's no option (at least on line) to buy a shirt separately.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

I wonder how much they would be if people showed no inclination to buy one?

I noticed this a couple of years ago with the England shirts, they are advertised as 'match' and 'stadium' shirts - if you look on the Nike website the 'stadium' shirt is £65 and the 'match' is £90 - the only seeming difference being the material they are made from and the 'technology' it uses.

Bit of a moot point really as someone will always buy one. Personally if I like it I will buy it, if I don't I won't.

I've had this feeling for a few weeks. Would be nice and imagine they'd shift a few on the day.

How long have we been pining for the green and yellow back again? Not too much of a fan of the home kit I'll be honest. Though to be fair if we played in tater skins I'd still follow but yeah. It would be a nice touch if they released it against Cov.

I bought a scarf in the 1978 season, a college style one. It's still as good as new and i wear it to games. The one i had before that my mom knit me in the 60's.

I know someone who works in the club shop and the letters and numbers have arrived for the away kit and they are white, which I presume rules out green & yellow??
