Thanks for working your magic again! I like the home one, not mad keen on the red away though but that's more do do with not liking red rather than anything else.

Who's the new signing?  :P

I like the design of the home kit in this season very much, the best among these few years.

Agree, it seems to be a better fit too. Although I may have just lost weight..

I'd quite fancy a blue and white version of Juve's current kit - thick stripe with a pinstripe in the middle of the dark stripe. Classy looking

I know the 'total pinstripes' were naff, but this would be a variation on the standard stripes

We will never in a million years get the same template as Juve. We will have the same template that your local pub team uses. The big teams get individual designs we just get templates

Yep, if you look at some of the template kits they are rehashed versions of some of the 'exclusive' kits that have been previously produced elsewhere in the world - in the same way that some of the non-league template kits (see Stourbridge's kit this year for example) are now based on the style of kits we had a few seasons ago.
Ultimately I'm probably going to be disappointed but that kit as an Albion short would look great

Palm (guochuan Lai's affiliated company) is to be the primary sponsor next year

perhaps a way to get round FFP? I don't remember the rules fully but there's not any restriction on payment through sponsorship is there?

It may be, although I'm probably wrong I didn't actually think he had anything to do with that company anymore.

palm directly contributed to the buyout. So they had some sort of stake in the club already.

Lai to privately invest money into Palm then it goes into sponsorship and branding? So long as they can't be directly tied or picked up.

Over heard a woman at Man City away talking about it (in hushed tones), she mentioned that our home shirt is "okay", the away kit is red and that the 3rd kit is "disgusting".
Wonder if the 3rd choice will be yellow and green stripes as I'm aware that quite a few of our fans really don't like it (hence "disgusting") but with Mr Lai's claim of liking us since the 70's maybe it'll be a bit of clever retro branding for the Chinese market?

Me too, I'd prefer it as the away kit as it would negate the need for a 3rd kit in the same way that black does.

We've effectively been sponsored by our owners - Palm. Cash injection?

I think I intimated this happening in earlier posts,I think he will also sell our shirts in his nurseries,he's a business man remember.
He will want WBA known throughout China.
Chinese sponsorship is the key to extra money for the club.
Getting our name in high profile areas in China is paramount, before other clubs cotton on.

Yellow & Green is the bomb
I will be getting one sent back here to Aus if we go down that path for sure.

C'mon you know you want to Baggies...

I think though with Red and Yellow being the colours of China we won't see our Red ditched in a hurry and smart marketing would see us add gold in there somewhere.
