If Sheffield United beat Spurs in the FA Cup, the game will be rearranged.

Never heard Blues v Albion called a 'grudge match' before!

Certainly the greatest in my lifetime.
I saw him make his debut against us at Old Trafford in 1963 as a seventeen year old. I was seventeen years old myself and marvelled that this frail looking lad managed to survive a battering from Graham Williams, and started the move which led to Uniteds goal and a 1-0 win.
At the end of the game Bobby Charlton went over to him and led the crowds applause.
There was nothing in that game except bravery, to suggest that George would become the player that he did. I believe that I saw every game that George played against Albion throughout his career. He was a magician, a genius who people travelled to see. I even went to Molineaux twice to see him take them apart.
One of my favourite games was in 1968, when we beat United 6-3 in front of 45,000 at the Hawthorns.
The King got a hat-trick and United's team included Stiles, Charlton, Crerand, Law , Kidd and Best. All of those there would proclaim M.O.M George Best

George's last game for United against Albion was in October 1972. There are 8 minutes of highlights starting at 45 minutes in the link below.

Equally I'm not sure how anyone can look at that and call it a swing of the elbow.

BTA's arm was fully extended and he caught him with his hand, not his elbow.

Definitely trial by TV pundits. What would the FA have done if Danny Murphy had said the footage is grainy and inconclusive?

I noticed that he had his hand to the wrong cheek too.

The ironic thing is that his reaction led to him having to leave the pitch, thereby helping to free up the space for BTA to head the equaliser.

The BBC were bemoaning the lack of VAR, but in a VAR world we would likely have got a penalty for the initial shirt pull on BTA and Kelly could possibly have been sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity.

Grainy footage from a distance. One camera angle and suddenly it's a ban by the law according to Danny Murphy. Just been reminded why I don't miss MofD.

The latest set of accounts for MSD Holdings gives an interesting insight into how they approach loans to football clubs and the various stages of risk. Presumably details of Albion's loan will be in the next set of accounts.

The earlier Chinese offer of £150m slightly puzzled me. Surely if this was Lai he would have come back and paid that amount up front and not agreed to a £25+m increase on the price? If he did then he is an even worse businessman than we thought, which takes some doing.

Could this have been a Fosun offer?

It could well have been Fosun who bought Wolves in July 2016 or Tony Xia who bought Villa in May 2016.

Easy to tell someone else how to spend their money Isn’t it  ?

Except £3.75m of it is the club's money.

I don't know, it was pretty clear he was building the club to sell for his own gain to most fans I thought.

I did think he would take some care over who he sold it to when he was done but when he rejected offers from lower bidder's who intended to invest in favour of an anonymous frontman from China who offered the most money my belief was crushed.

JP rejected a Chinese offer (Lai?) in July 2015 because they wanted a payment schedule and wouldn't pay all up front.

Meanwhile the move to Jersey predated the sale.
