Yeah I agree, I think we need 8/9 points from the remaining 4 games this month to stay in touch with the top 2, back to back wins on Tuesday will set us up to go & get a result at the vile.
tuesday will be crucial, we've been rubbish at home since xmas

some interesting midweek fixtures

Leeds v Swansea
Preston v Norwich
Sheff U v Boro

Anything could happen there, we need to do our job and see what ensues.

Yeah we have to win Tuesday and start putting the pressure on the top 2 and asking questions of them

We can out ourselves in a very promising position by winning Tuesday

So far so good, win the next 2 and we’ll be above Sheffield United which would be massive.

We need to win the next three if we are going to challenge for automatic and that’s still likely to leave us in third.

Interestingly our game in hand vs QPR is this Tuesday and Leeds have theirs at QPR  the Tuesday after. We follow QPR with a game vs Sheffield United 4 days later, whereas Leeds follow with us 3 days later. Hopefully that can give us a small edge

4 points from the next 2 games will set us up nicely for a win at Leeds, then we'll be right on their tails.

I don't many would have expected more than ten points from those six fixtures. With seven already in the bag we're well on the way to achieving or even bettering that target.

It's odd that a draw tonight and a win Saturday would put us above Sheff Utd but a win tonight and a draw on Saturday keeps us below them. Shows just how tight this league is.

Can you explain that one as it's still 4 points whichever way round and a draw with Sheff Utd would also mean we had a better head to head.

We have the same goal difference of +24 so a win tonight gives us better than that and takes us to 60 points, a draw Saturday gives us 61 and Sheff Utd 62

A draw tonight keeps us at +24 goal difference and 58 points, a win on Saturday then gives us 61 points and a better goal difference than Sheff Utd as we will have bettered our +24 and theirs would then be worse than +24
