Doesn't tend to work like that at times, Devon.

In this case it is the holding company of the football club who are being liquidated which means the actual football club and it's assets get to remain meaning they can fulfill their league fixtures. Liquidating the company will take a while and in the process the football club shall need to find a new holding company to buy their assets - it is increasingly similar to the situation Rangers found themselves in last summer.

I am sure a few of us will keep our eye out for his performances.

If he knuckles down he could do a job for them still, I've got a feeling he wont last the season and will retire again though.

Looks like its going to be a very hard season for Coventry, wouldn't wish what there fans have experienced to anyone. Tough start tomorrow at Crawley.

If Koumas can keep fit and play well for Tranmere then they still have a top quality player who can help them make the top six.

Fantastic start for Newport beating Accrington Stanley 4-1 Yesterday. Good wins also for Oxford at Portsmouth, a very good comeback from Rotherham at Crewe.

Great start for Walsall, hopefully they can keep this up and take that extra stride to the play offs which they narrowly missed out on last season.

Good win for Brentford as well at home to Sheffield United.

Wolves activated the release clause in Kevin McDonald's contract - arguably Sheffield United's best player. If I remember correctly, he had his medical on friday ahead of his move to the Mol. Sheffield United supporters aren't happy and it's very likely that the money received for him shall not be reinvested given the debts they have amassed - he has a meeting with Davie Weir whose going to try and convince him that his future remains at Bramall Lane.

Walsall have made an excellent start to this season seven points from nine. Dean Smith has done an excellent job at Walsall since he has been there. Jason Koumas came on for twenty minute Yesterday for Tranmere at Crewe. Despite all the problems at Coventry they had made a pretty good start seems to be a lot of goals in there game so far.

GET IN!!!!

Been coming for a long time. Wolves could have been 3-0 up after 15 minutes but have looked very dodgy since.

The standard at that level now looks very very poor indeed. If they don't walk that league they have major problems.

Crawley deserved something from that, very harsh penalty given against them. Thought they played some very good stuff overall.

A very dodgy penalty given to Wolves last night, Crawley played really well. Wolves go to Port Vale next. Carlisle also picked up there first point of the season with a 1-1 at Colchester.
