The bloke wants to go, let him go. He clearly has no passion for Albion anymore, better off without him now. But I will say thanks for the memories, scored some vital goals for us during his time here. But a sour note to leave on for sure!!!

As for a replacement I cant see us brining anyone in before Thursday. I think we can manage until the summer.

Oh and by the way I HATE HARRY REDKNAPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:(

For somebody who has always come across as well spoken and level headed he is making himself look a total c*** with or without help!! >:(

Pretty dissapointing to see how this is all panning out now. Its sad to see a player like Odemwingie leaving but the way he is going about it is pretty poor from him.

This is all very sad. He was one my favourites, but it's quite evident that he is a **** of the highest order.

No way we yield to this baby throwing his toys out the pram. QPR meet our evaluation or PO goes nowhere until the summer at least.

I hope the tweets make QPR withdraw their offer.

for a player that has given us some many great times, goals against Wolves, and all of his others goals its a sad way for him to go really.

Imagine if the move doesn't go through this transfer window?

Never seen such acts of petulance.

Perhaps there's a reason he doesn't play for Nigeria any more.

Very clearly so. I hope JP keeps a cool head and doesn't let this creepy emotional manipulation get to him. Just stick to the facts and milk QPR for as close to 8 figures as possible. If PO stays just slap him with a huge fine for disrespecting the club.

I'm sure QPR fans will be thrilled when/if they finally land PO. They know he doesn't give a poo about them or their club.

Makes no difference to him when they've cut his wages. He'll just hand in a transfer request and beg for a move elsewhere.

There are ways of doing things and unfortunately Odemwingie has gone totally the wrong way about it.

We get the fact you want to leave, it should have ended there. The ramblings on twitter just make himself look like a greedy, inconsiderate, disrespectful **** but the man has no shame and therefore this will have no bearing on himself whatsoever.

Starting to find it quite amusing what an immature pathetic baby he is!

I mean he is so harshly treated, for one how dare out manager ask him to play in an attacking position to the right of where he normally does, that £40k a week is an insult when you asked to do such crazy things like that! Fancy also forcing him to stay at a club where he is one of the highest paid players, happy to sign a new deal one year into his old one, where he was welcomed with open arms, treated like a king (before he even stepped on the pitch) after a season of suffering personal abuse at his old club, he is the victim here!

I despite the bloke with a passion, imagine the fuss he will kick up if QPR go down and he may have to take a pay cut! Pathetic excuse for a person and a footballer the way he has conducted himself with this and whole twitter thing shows he has no common sense whatsoever. Part of me would say £8m or nothing, and then if they dont, keep him here the season, make him do double sessions every day, treat him like he feels he is being treated anyway, dont let him play for any of the teams not even the kids, they shouldnt have to play with idiots like him, it would cost us prob £40k a week for 5 months til the end of June, so prob around £800k in wages, knock two weeks of that off for his fine for his behaviour lately, take it to the FA how he has gone about it, he clearly has spoken to another club so that breaks the rules, any time he makes a comment about it publicly fine him, he cant keep his mouth shut so that £800k would soon be £400k.

I know its unlikely but would love a club to take a stand and let players know they dont call the shots, i think it would only take one club to do it and others would follow, i hope we are that club but i doubt it.

QPR - you are welcome to him.

He would have to cow down to the supporters in hope that he can be forgiven.

Or, he'll refuse to play which seems a likely option given how much of a prat he is proving to be.

Loved him but get rid! Nothing here we haven't seen from footballers in the past. I don't think he ever wanted to be at the Albion.

Very good player. But like a lot of players no class...

If I was one of those involved in doing deals at QPR and I had seen those tweets I would pull out of any kind of deal immediately. Not the kind of character you need in a dressing room, we will be lucky to get rid of him now.

I'd love to see him do that so we can fine the hell out of him. He'll achieve the opposite of what he wants...

Sounds good but his behaviour is going to put other possible buyers off thus weakening our position so the only bidders will be the club where he wants to go makes you think if other parties are at work here as well as Petulant Pete!

Incredible, how can a player go from such a fans favorite to this in such a short space of time!
I've got those West Bromwich Blues!
