Fulham looking for a replacement for Dempsey. In the SC pre match interview Thursday or Friday he mentioned nothing of injured players. He did say a few minor knocks but had ecpected to have a full squad to choose from. Deep down I don't think he's going anywhere but with PO I always have that little doubt and wonder. Anyway for another day let get something today!

sunderland, fulham and west ham have all been sniffing around pete, if they are willing to meet jp,s asking price of 10 million plus then somthing might happen and i dont think we will bring in any other forward with players at our disposal. that fee could go towards to defenders that in my opinion we need. but i dont want pete to go.

Clarke confirmed in a post-match interview that he suffered a thigh strain in training on Thursday. He's injured. No big conspiracy.

Pete certainly does have a lot of last-minute leg injuries.

Somebody claiming on twitter that he's gone to Fulham for £10m. I know that means nothing but I thought I'd let you know. Personally I doubt it but that would be a lot to turn down.

Don't shoot the messenger.

Let me guess, is it a someone called something like 'ITK TRANSFER193' who claims to be a football agent?

When any other player is injured they're injured, but when Peter 'attitude' Odemwingie is injured he's just faking it because he's moving to another club. There's no way he could have actually picked up an injury in training like players often do, what an absurd idea.
Seems to happen quite often though!

Someone on another thread is saying man has never walked on the moon, over here people are suggesting Pete isn't injured, it's all a lie and he is leaving. People love conspiracy theories don't they?  Hopefully he will be back for the Everton game.

I can't believe one of our best player in recent times gets so much criticism.

Quite possibly, I was just passing on what I'd heard though. As I said in the original post, I doubted it.

No probs, what the thread is for fella!

To go into it in more depth. I don't think Fulham "need" him and therefore wouldn't offer eight figures. I don't think Odemwingie is looking to leave for anyone other than top 4 plus Liverpool and Chelsea. And finally I'm not sure, after Fletcher's fee, that Peace would accept £10 million anyway.

A lot depends on what happens at Fulham this week if they get raided for Dembele as well as Dempsey they might panic at the end of the week and stump up a ridiculous sum for a ready made replacement.

I actually think he is guaranteed a place in the side, if the alternative is Fortune wide right then I don't think he has much to worry about.

If he carries on getting 10 a season then his goals could be worth so much more to us than £5m come the end of the season. We don't need or want to sell him so I don't believe he will leave this summer.

Nobodys garanteed a place in the squad.. He'd be my first choice but that doesn't mean its garanteed..

I still think he is as long as he remains fit, just my opinion mind you. I would hope he is pressured for his place but as I said if the alternative is Fortune for that role I don't think he has anything to worry about.

I think he should be garenteed a place he is a handfull for full backs... Fortune does more work but can't finish wich is a shame.. But I still feel we have goals when pete doesn't play wich must be good... Come on you albion

In my opinion Pistol Pete is worth a lot more tham £10 Million...looking at the facts  The dingles are getting  12 million  :o for fletcher and our pete is a natural goal scorer!!.........................so i dont think even it his age the asking price should be below £15 million!!!! :P

2 seasons at the level he has played the previous 2 would definately put him in the 15mil bracket. If we don't get 10 million+, he won't go.

Lets get this right as long as we get more than we paid for him, JP will be happy. I could be wrong but cant see him going anywhere just yet.
