Odemwingie's view on that transfer mess up.

Calls himself a humble person.. Seemed quite confident about himself throughout the interview

Sounds to me that he didn't get on with a few in the squad.

Definitely.. I'm sure there weren't really any signs of the troubles and issues he mentioned going on before hand, except for Hodgson saying he wasn't injured the one time. Came across to me in that interview as quite cocky and that we trapped him against his will

Scott Sinclair now thinks he`s good enough for England because he`s plying his trade in the Scottish equivillent  of the Championship nowhere near good enough at Man City dreadful at the Hawthorns and Vile park he would be a good bench warmer in league`s 1 and 2

If you cannot find your post telling us an ex player has scored or been sent off please don't start moaning as it explains in the very first post your post will be removed -

As a moderating team we have discussed the best way to talk about ex-players and feel the best way is to have one topic where any ex-player can be discussed.

The point of the thread is to keep people updated on where some of our ex-players whether legend, boo-boy or even youngsters have ended up and what they are up to these days.

THIS THREAD IS NOT FOR TELLING PEOPLE THAT XX OR YY PLAYER HAS JUST SCORED A GOAL OR BEEN SENT-OFF ETC AS THERE ARE THREADS IN THE GENERAL SPORTS FORUM FOR THINGS LIKE THAT SO IF YOUR POST TELLING US THAT SIMON COX OR LUKE MOORE HAS JUST SCORED IS NOT IN THIS THREAD TRY THE OTHER FORUMS BEFORE MOANING AND PLAYING YOUR FACE TO US AS YOU MAY END UP LOOKING A BIT OF AN backside  ;)

There will be a seperate thread for players out on loan as there are still OUR players until we release them or sell them etc.

I've started looking at Rotherham's results now, hoping they go down (very likely)

Izzy Brown, Mattock, Odemwingie and I think I saw Lee Camp in goal for them earlier in the season

Blimey this one passed me by.

Seems in good spirits though.

All of the very best Carlton.

It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Lescott was released by AEK Athens this month and is currently a free agent. How quickly did he spiral downwards?!

Also Meite (now 36) is now at Newport County. Uefa cup finalist in 04 with 48 Ivory Coast appearances.

West Ham United and Sunderland are interested in Leeds United striker Chris Wood, but have been put off by the Championship club's valuation of the New Zealand international, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.

Leeds are determined to keep Wood as they look to maintain their bid for promotion and they have warned clubs off the former Leicester player by valuing him at £15 million.  :o

Wood has been in outstanding form for Leeds this season, scoring 17 goals in 29 games in all competitions to spearhead Leeds' bid for promotion back to the Premier League.

The 25-year-old, who has impressed in a lone forward role this term, scored the winning goal against Derby last Friday to send Leeds up to third place in the table and Wood's displays have not gone unnoticed by several Premier League clubs.

West Ham are in the market for a new striker during this month's transfer window, but have been frustrated in their attempts to land Sunderland's Jermain Defoe and Brentford's Scott Hogan.

Wood is also on West Ham's wanted list as Slaven Bilic looks to add to his attacking options at the London Stadium.

He's still only proven himself in the Championship that he can score goals. Story also coincides with Leeds' upturn in form.

Wood has a good goal scoring record (4th top scorer in the league), is still only 25 and due to signing for the Albion s young he qualifies as a home grown player.

If you want to "buy british" and don't have the balls and imagination to look at foreign markets, this is the price that you have to pay.
