Blimey is he still only 29 and able to command a €2.5m transfer fee?   Very very frightening......

Midfielder?!

After leaving us he moved into a defensive midfield role, and has since been doing well by all accounts.

Anyone know what Megson's up to these days? Would love to see him back in the game.

Had offers of coaching which he has rejected, along with one managerial option which he has also turned down. Four years since he has worked.

Seems pretty relaxed about things and enjoying life.

Two interviews from the Sheffield Wednesday 'Vital' site video linked below for any who are interested.

Have not currently listened to the whole of either interview.

It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

The interview was a good listen actually with a very good journalist Alan Biggs who is a close ally of Megson.

From a Wednesday point of view, it was very interesting but would bore most people who don't care.

Spoke well of Albion as well and praised our supporters but I couldn't help but detect several veiled comments towards Peace.

Enjoyable interview that, good old Megson, always a decent listen.  Listening to that it seems pretty clear he hasn't evolved much in terms of the modern game and because of that he'll always struggle to get work now.  Intelligent guy though.

Jerome Thomas on trial at Ipswich, always liked him after he "had words" with Jack Wilshere (the obnoxious little git)

Does anyone know if we have ever had any interest in getting Maresca back to the club at some point or at least made enquiries?

Alan Miller's old place in West Bromwich is up for sale. No doubt it's had a lick of paint since by the look of it.
