Bournemouth have signed goalkeeper Lee Camp on a permanent deal.

Camp became a free agent at midnight on New Year's Day following the end of his loan deal with the Cherries and contract with parent club West Brom.

The 29-year-old initially joined the Cherries on a one-month long loan at the end of October and has now signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.

"I am pleased everything has been sorted and I am delighted to have signed," Camp told the club website.

The Northern Ireland international played for Derby, QPR, Nottingham Forest and Norwich before joining West Brom on a free transfer in September 2013.

He has made 11 appearances since arriving at the Cherries.

"Discussions have been ongoing for the past couple of weeks but we have come to a pretty speedy conclusion in the end, so credit must go to the football club for how they have handled it," he said.

"Going into the Brighton game we weren't a million miles apart. If anything slowed it down over the Christmas period it was the fact we had three games in six days.

"I spoke to the manager at the hotel before the game on New Year's Eve and I was fairly confident we would all get to where we needed to get to, to make the deal happen.

"Now I have something sorted, I can concentrate on playing football."

A) because PL defender's wouldn't have given him THAT much time to turn (what was the right CB doing?)

B)Like many great looking goals.... pure luck.

Jason Roberts has had to retire due to injury.

Good Luck for the future.

Always liked Roberts though him and Hughes would make an outstanding forward line for years to come

Miller looks a handful at that level and has rediscovered his confidence more than anything. The crocking from David James ruined what would have been a decent top flight career imo.

Didn't know Luke Moore had signed for Chivas in the MLS. Now based in Califorina then! This guy really lands on his feet.

I hope Luke does well, but Chivas USA isn't exactly the best place to go in MLS. They've finished at or near the bottom of the table the last four years, and the league itself has taken over the club until someone figures out how to fix it.

To be fair to Chivas, they've started well this season, although that's more down to the form of their main striker Erick Torres than anything Luke Warm's done.  He's mostly bench fodder for them, which speaks volumes in itself.
Steve Bull is a merchant who specialises in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. He wears the headgear one would associate with this trade. He spent years in the first team of a Staffordshire-based club. And he is not a very nice man.

Weird that! I only read yesterday that the owner stated that there was no way that they could afford his wage demand. ???

Luke Moore's only been in America for three months, and clubs are already playing pass the parcel with him.  Chivas have announced that they're trading him to Colorado Rapids, who are then trading him straight on to Toronto.  Wrap up warm, Luke, no more California for you  ;D
