This may be interesting to someone. Tai Shan Schierenberg presents a show called landscape/portrait artist of the year on sky. Incidentally Frank skinner also presents on the same show and its my theory that Frank has got Tai into the Albion. Probably by obsessively talking about them all the time. Can't wait for the show.

The link below is to a short video of the artist work and him talking about “it’s the hope that kills you”. We all know about that, don’t we?

Telling moment with Brunt, Foster and Field.

Seemed clear to me they wanted to blame the coaching / team management but couldn’t with them still in charge.

A thoroughly enjoyable, thoughtful and insightful programme, not just about the Albion, but what football means to the family of fans

Really enjoyed that . From someone who had no connection with football or a team his emotions against Spurs were amazing and touching. Agree about Brunt Foster and Field regarding the management

very good, as the name suggests it's more about the artist and his relation to his subject (Albion, football and the ties created between people from it) but it was good to see him get invested and at least try to understand why people care rather than coldly seeing it as 11 men chasing a ball around.

His lack of awareness and experience in football did shine through with how they tried to make Tony Pulis an even moderately likable person (who keeps a giant portrait of Napoleon in their hall for goodness sake!) and it does show that Pulis was absolutely trying to get himself fired.

What a brilliant and incisive programme.
I think they tried to make the viewer feel sorry for Pulis, lonely job etc.
As I've said many times about the profession, they don't have to worry about paying the gas bill do they, did you see the house of Pulis, not bad for a failure eh?
It also showed to me that Foster has a lot to say for himself, part of the clique? I don't know but probably, all this I love the club so do my kids,oh by the way I've failed this season, were relegated so see you later.
Sam was embarrassed ,brunty didn't know what to say.
But as usual the stars were the supporter and his son, they were fantastic.
The artist himself is an internationally recognised man who has had the queen sit for him,he's a top man and I think were his club from now on.
Thanks to the club and channel 4.

Just watched this documentary and I thought it was really great.  If you have not seen it I would really recommend it.  The artist starts off not really getting the passion in the club, and by the end he is jumping up and down with the rest of us when we score in extra time against Spurs.  There were a number of bits I thought were quite revealing.  The pain and surgery that Ben Foster has gone through on his legs was shocking, and notably Alan Pardew was not involved at all in the project.  Could have been longer, but it really explained why we love the club and the passion of our supporters.  Does anyone no if the art is still on display in Walsall?

This was a fantastic programme. Was good to get a glimpse into life being the scenes. But I also found it quite sad that footballers feel that way. I guess everyone thinks it's all glitz and glamour, but the reality is very different.

Wow, that was a superb and sometimes emotional watch.  Loved Tai's reaction to the Spurs goal.  Brunt, Foster and Field's interview was so telling even though they said very little.

That was incredible watching his journey from “not quite understanding the passion” to a fan tearing up when we scored late v Tottenham.

Right at the end when he said “football is” what did he finish that sentence with.

Absolutely loved it.

Very insightful. The portrait of Pulis entitled "The Fear of Failure" captured the essence of the man.

It was a very good programme. Some of the conclusions drawn by fans are baffling though.

The Assembly was an embarrassment.

I find the assembly questionable at times especially the subjects they choose to discuss. It was nice to see one or two of the fans giving it to the board that's what they need to do. I'm probably going to get some stick for this but Alan Cleverly made my blood boil with his defense of the players and their lacklustre performances by criticising the fans for booing them in games. Well I'm sorry Alan but if fans aren't being entertained and haven't won at home in months and there's no clear sign of that changing with the management structure at that time then they have every right to express their opinions how they see fit. It got that desperate last season us voicing our opinions in a critical manner felt like the only way to see change.
