Are Chadli & Phillips back in training?  Be a massive boost if we can get them both fit.

I think Phillips is but they are keeping mighty quiet about Chadli.
I hope nothing bad is going on and he never plays for us again.

The news on his injury just seems to be the same each week and nothing of any certainty.
If we are to escape relegation, he needs to play and he needs to be given full rein.

I suspect Chadli is being kept under wraps before we offload him in January

I was afraid that might be true too.

Not must win at this stage of the season, but the sort of fixture that if we were to win it, it would be absolutely massive both in terms of points on the board and the uplift it would give the squad.

Think this game is a must not lose. We are still within the pack and 3 points will take us up the table. We need to makesure we are in touching distance come new year and not drift away.
I believe we have a very good chance of getting 3 points against Stoke, if not a point will be good.

Saying that id take 5 points in the next 3 games.

There's only so many games where we can say must not lose.

We need to gain points as well as deny them to others.

Time to get going.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Absolute must win.

Swansea are to home to Palace so lose this and there's a very realistic possibility of us being bottom at Christmas. Next three fixtures are Everton and West Ham (coming into form) with Arsenal in the middle.

Any idea why we haven't sold this one out quicker? Possibly with Christmas coming up? Personally I'm buzzing.

Cheers  ;D

My mate parked up just down from the Harvester season before last, it was a fiver top wack, may have been cheaper.

Looking at the map online I think it's on Tony Waddington Place which is just around the corner from the Britannia.

Ed: I think it may have been the Seat dealership car park.

Always park free on the A50 slip road down by the industrial estate.

You can literally park on the slip road going back down to the M6. Parked on there last year and was back in the pub in Rowley by half 5

seems like a good strategy to sell him for less than the £13 million it cost to acquire him ...

I thought his beef was with Tony?

Everyone is now back in training except Morrison. What they don't want to do is push those who've been out for ages too hard, otherwise they could break down and be out for ages again. It's a difficult balance to strike when we're crying out for some creativity.

Barry and Brunt starting would mean that some strings can be pulled from midfield. Have Phillips or Burke on the right, and one of Greg or Yacob to make way for Chadli on the hour after starting both with Barry.

Please drop McClean.

I think Brunt and Barry have to start, they made a very positive impact. McClean and Livermore to drop. Ideally Phillips will be fit and in which then we can perhaps consider him or Burke in the number 10.

Chadli has been out a while so i'd expect him to be a sub.

The strong possibility we'll be beaten, the legacy of Pulisball, the cost, the stoke fans, the stewards, the horrible freezing cold stadium, the availability of live streaming......sorry, but I feel really negative and pessimistic about us at the moment.

In my crystal ball thread, Pardew does indeed drop him!
