Talk about panicking. Gomez needs to pass that ball calmly into the corner.

Chelsea being absolutley battered but can see then fluking it 1-0.

That being said they should be offering a hell of a lot more considering its a European cup final.

Incredible. In 2011 RDM was sacked as West Brom manager, 2012 he guides Chelsea to an FA Cup win and against all odds takes them to a Champions League win. You couldn't write it.

The penalties became very psychological towards the end, and someone like Drogba was perfect for the final penalty. You could see it in his eyes that he was going to score.

It was just meant to be. Chelsea just got that undefeatable crazy cup run luck on their side. Strange to see so many key Bayern players crumble at key moments (and Barca players). But Chelsea did what they could and got the results. Congrats :)

It was inspiring and dramatic and major respect to RDM for pulling off that miracle...just wish it weren't bleedin' Chelsea:-\

Congratulations to Chelsea, it wasn't pretty but they managed to get across the line. Thought they were pretty poor. To get into the champions league final and not have a go until they went behind was poor in my opinion but they were lucky Didier Drogba came to their rescue. I did cheer when he scored the winning penalty because they were representing England at the end of the day but I'm not looking forward to their arrogance next season.

The Champions League groups for the 2012/13 season have been drawn:

Group A: Porto, Dynamo Kiev, Paris St Germain, Dinamo Zagreb.  Hard to know who will come out of this group

Group B: Arsenal, Schalke, Olympiakos, Montpellier.  Arsenal could have a bit of a problem here IMO

Group C: AC Milan, Zenit St Petersburg, Anderlecht, Malaga. Milan and Zenit are my tip in this group

Group D: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund.  City are doomed

Group E: Chelsea, Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus, FC Nordsjaelland.  I know Chelsea are the champs but this may be a step too far

Group F: Bayern Munich, Valencia, Lille, BATE Borisov.  Munich and Valencia for me

Group G
: Barcelona, Benfica, Spartak Moscow, Celtic.  Sorry to say this but Bye Bye Celtic

Group H: Manchester United, Braga, Galatasaray, CFR Cluj.  United look to be in the best position of any of the British sides

Don't be sorry to say bye bye Celtic  :P

Group D is mouth watering. Fantastic group. I thought Man City had a tough group last season but this is even worse. Would certainly say out the British teams, they look most under threat to not make it past the group stage. Some tricky ties in there but the English sides but at the same time, mouth watering ties.

Be nice to see our names up there next year eh?  I wouldn't expect a lot of wins but to just get to the group stage means a financial windfall... plus it raises the club's profile abroad.

Yes I am getting a bit ahead of myself there.  Only just started this season.  But it is nice to have a dream.  All fans have them ... don't they?

Time to bring this back I reckon. Real Madrid vs Man City tonight. Promises to be a cracking game.

Saw this stat on another forum regarding Mourinho's home record: He's only lost 4 of his 573 matches at home.
