A promising start to the season. Like the pressure on their goal and the determination throughout - it will gain a lot of points. Longer term the style could also result in suspensions and injuries but the contrast with last season is positive.

He's used what he had to bring organisation and some stability. If he stays he has to have a long term plan and the club must back him. If the club or he want to call it quits then do it quickly so we have the longest period to get sorted before next season.

Good performance in the main. Major loss of concentration for their final corner. Surely someone should be organising the defence in that situation!

No easy answers but the managerial team needs to be finalised as quickly as possible. If it's Sam, it needs confirming, if not, the new boss needs as much time as possible before the new season.

I think it will be a positive approach today and we will attack. Arsenal will win.

This is a win! Villa are missing some key players are pretty disjointed currently and seem to struggle when the opposition get at them. Sam will have the team up for this one and they have to react to the last game. An enjoyable evening ahead.

This is a winnable game. Palace aren't consistent and have a few out with injuries. They have recently been heavily beaten so confidence will be shakey. This looks a game to be won by the better organised side- which might be us these days! Zaha coming back may be a problem and we need to watch our penalty box tackling  against him.

We've improved but not enough to realistically expect the run of results we require to avoid relegation. I don't think we will survive this season.

Madeley reporting that hierarchy in Hawthorns concerned that Allardyce doesn't seem to be interested in rebuild in Championship, so I'd say we will be parting ways.
If that is the case, the key thing he has done is introduce some discipline into our play. We need to build on that and use the rest of this season to work with the squad members likely to form the nucleus of next seasons team. It's now a huge task to stay up but ,should he go, he can at least pass over something more positive than he inherited.

I think it's the perfect game to play after the Everton defeat. Newcastle are wobbling and have an injury problem. Bruce's tactics are predictable and we have some momentum. If we can score first we can go on to win comfortably.

A good read which gives a little hope. Good fortune was with us yesterday but a win is a win. Maybe something similar against Everton and it will begin to look different and momentum is with us.

Think today has done for us. Time to start seriously planning for next season.

Good to see some battling. Should have put at least one goal in.

That's the approach and attitude I'd hoped for today. Now we need to do it against Burnley and Brighton. We need to become a team no other likes playing against.

It's unlikely we'll get anything out of this. I do want to see a battling performance though. No dropped heads and players encouraging each other.

Spurs are not at their best and, if we start well, will feel the pressure. I think we are good for a draw.

Gutted at the equaliser.  It's not over on this one result but we need to be resilient and we are not yet.

I think last night's result is useful. They've won one in eight league games and aren't in great form. If we can get organised  (big ask!) there is the chance that their in match confidence is going to suffer whilst ours will grow. Another Albion defeat is not a forgone conclusion.

This is a game for the team to continue learning to play the Sam way and try to restore a bit of confidence and resilience. A gritty performance is required whatever the result.

I think that we will be better organised and stronger as a team than against Villa so I don't think we will be beaten by a high score. It will be a home win though.
