This is the way Carlos wants us to play, but we need play quicker and that means moving faster than the other side and offering yourself for the ball. We then need to have composure and find the pass quicker than we are.

They also have the grit and determination that is missing from our play, we are acting like we are the bees knees instead of competing.

I'm hoping for much better in the second half, but that means Carlos changing something

I'm disgusted with what I have seen so far. It's a continuation from the QPR game

We are winning but it's not been convincing.

Brilliant win against a very good footballing side.

There were some good positive talking points about our game, but I always seem to dwell on the negatives hoping that Carlos can put things right. But when the subs were made we had the same effect like the Southampton game, it interrupted  our play. Also there was some sloppy play at times with players losing possession too easily.

This is how some games will go, but if you can get the win when your not 100% it can only be positive.

Like others have said about Mowatt, he was brilliant.

Usually I am relaxed and look forward to going down the Albion, but I must admit I am a little nervy at this moment in time.

It's like when we go one up in a game, you get nervous hoping we can hang on to the lead by the end of the game. I think the realisation that we are doing quite well and have a good chance of a top six finish is exciting me and would be terrible if we missed out. The game tonight against another contender for a top six finish is so important to cement our place over them in this race.

Then again, I suppose we should all be calm and take it one game at a time and not think too far into the future. COYB

There is still plenty of points to play for after this game, but I think it's important to keep our position in the top six. Therefore we probably need to win tonight, but can we?

A very tricky game and difficult to predict. COYB

Not sure what benefit this signing is ignoring the age factor. How many weeks will it take to get him match fit, we could be talking well into April.
This is what I am also wondering, although I shouldn't think it will take to April.

Typical Albion performance. Just need to keep on creating the space on the wings where we can get around their full backs.

Keep Moore quite and we will give them a game. 3-1 Ipswich
I hope your score prediction is as accurate as your last one.

Furlong deserves massive credit, if he intended to pick Weimann out. I'll have to eat my words on Furlong after some of my earlier comments. His game has definitely improved under CC.
He did pick him out. As soon as he received the ball I saw Weimann making the run to the near post, I looked back at Furlong and his eyes were on Weimann. My first reaction was "pick him out with your pass Darnell" , which he did.

In my mind this is what we have been missing, a player making near post runs. The timing of the run was first class, and you can only make the pass if you have a runner.

I thought if nothing else they both added a bit of energy and urgency to the game. We certainly seemed to get the ball forwards more, and quickly, after they’d been introduced. Although that may also have been due to the change in formation.

Agree it’s too early to judge fully, however we got our goal after making the changes so I can’t complain
I thought Carlos had made a mistake when he made those first two substitutions, but it goes to show he knows what he and his staff are doing.

He picked out Weimanns near post run for the goal, he actually looked up instead of just drilling it across the goal area.

Well I was completely wrong thinking we would have needed three goals to win today.

Although Birmingham looked dangerous at times, and won a few corners, we kept another clean sheet. A great opportunist goal from Weinmann gave us the three points, and that's what you get from him. He knows where the goal is. We wasn't at our best today, and when the two new lads came on I thought Carlos had made a wrong move, but in Carlos we trust!

Another good attendance and atmosphere to enjoy, let's hope for many more.

How many goals do we need to score tomorrow to win this game. Please don't reply "one more than them"

I think this will be a tricky game, it usually is against blues, and I think three will do. Which means converting the chances we create, not wasting them like we did last Sunday. COYB.

Unusually, I don't feel nervous at all. I think it's down to the realisation that they should and probably will beat us. At the moment I could except a three nil defeat as long as the team makes us proud of them, and I'm sure they will. That's not to say I will not be singing and chanting in support of my team, because I will be. Their team may be having their way on the pitch, but let's not let them dingles in the smeth. have their way. I'm looking forward to the atmosphere and want all Albion fans to drown out any wulf noises.
