I'm reliably informed they have an injury crisis in the right back department.

Bit like us then.

Bit disappointing that only Wood and Roofe start for Milwall and the Cobblers respectively tonight.

Berahino, Allan and Hurst all start on the bench.

Four Albion players in league action

JAMES Hurst limped out of Blues’ 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield after picking up an injury after 63 minutes at St Andrew’s.

Chris Wood played 73 minutes of Millwall’s 2-1 victory over Bolton at The New Den.

Scott Allan featured as a 69th-minute substitute as MK Dons drew 2-2 with Portsmouth at Stadium MK.

And Kemar Roofe started in Northampton’s 3-1 loss at Bristol Rovers before being substituted after 83 minutes.

Wood has scored two against his former club and neighbours Blues tonight, could of had a hat-trick by all accounts, and may still do as only one half has gone.

Great to see Wood score twice tonight, still only twenty and has been at six clubs already.

Saido Berahino got his first start for Posh tonight versus Huddersfield, one of my mates who is a Posh supporter said he stood out and rates him as a very good player.  Saido was subbed at 77 minutes after assisting both goals to Posh 2-0 up....Posh ended up winning 3-1 not bad for bottom club to beat 3rd in the league.  Well done Saido.

Quoted in the paper as wanting a Perm move to Millwall

totaly understand that , have said before  i like the guy but he is a championship player and would play reguler with a championship club, hope its not millwall though , but can you honestly see him getting a reguler baggies spot in front of Berhano, who also has to go out on loan to get gametime, and he has got all the attributes to become a premier league striker,

Very difficult to throw these youngsters in to the PL for a club like us unless they are absolutely sensational talents. Developing young players and selling on for profit is just a part of the business these days. It would be nice to see a Chris Wood or Saido Berahino come through but realistically? More likely they will be sold at some future date.

Their Chairman put on Twitter today they have agreed a £350k deal to sign a young, promising striker at the end of the season, he wanted to bring it forward but the players club delayed it until next Summer.

First player I thought of was Saido, hope its not though to be honest

£350k?????

I'd honestly feel that we could get a lot more for him than that IF we decide to sell

everything I seen of him looks like he has a really good chance of making it.

Its not mate, its a player who is first team at his current club and will only be let go at the end of the season.

Really hope Saido makes it. He has rave reviews from everywhere he's played and I'm desperate for one of our own to come up through the ranks.

Our most exciting prospect in my opinion.

Two each for Saido and Wood. Not bad at all!
