West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Where do you support Albion from!

Lived in Telford for 20 years but moved to Paralimni in Cyprus 2 years ago.

Looking forward to watching match on TV this afternoon but would much rather be there in person.

What a fantastic post Baggie79.

I now live in Cyprus so this forum is a great way of keeping in touch with what is happening at the club and I always look forward to your posts. I very rarely post but my feelings from afar is that Mel was treated appallingly and you obviously have more knowledge of what went on than most supporters.

I would hope if I was in your position that I would take the same stance as you but would probably have been tempted back this season.

Back about half an hour and now thawed out. Well what a wonderful result. That however is as far as I am willing to go until after the Sunderland game as for 80 minutes and with the exception of Foster and Mulumbu we were absolutely dire. The penalty save and a moment of brilliance from Brunt (if Beckham strikes that corner the media spunks it's combined pants) and GMac wins us the game and our ability to play on the break made it a comfortable last few minutes.

I think this is being very harsh as in no way were we dire for 80 minutes as I thought all our players were so much more competitive than in most of the previous games this year. Granted we had to rely on an immense performance from Foster but if you couldn't see that this was a massive improvement on previous performances you must have been watching a different game.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Peter Odemwingie Joins Cardiff City

I agree with solo baggie, while nobody would argue that Odemwingie is one of our best players the fact is that SC does not regard him as one of our main strikers and when he has played him he has not performed on a consistent basis.
Should QPR make a bid in the region of £5 million I would sell him and reinvest in the team, ideally we could get a genuine wide player in on loan before the end of January with an option to buy in the summer.
