I love his attitude he is uber confident in his own ability and he has an infectious nature that can only be helpful to the young players we have.

I'd imagine he is idolised in the dressing room.

Interestingly according to Danilo Butorovic and Slaven alluded to it as well, though it didn't seem obvious to me at the time, we switched to 3-5-2 late on yesterday. With Diangana possibly going back to West Ham (and of course he is now injured) there have been rumblings of a possible tinkering of the way we set up. Is 3-5-2 going to be another option for us moving forward?

Should've saved the second goal for me. Townsend was awful today and was beaten to the header but it was from far enough out, not overly powerful, Sam has to get across and stop that.

Charlie Austin's first goal - wow, just wow, what a goal. Second wasn't bad either but the first, sheer brilliant finishing.

Scrappy game, not many good performances out there. Three games in six games taking their toll, it's relentless this league.

Three points again. Very, very happy.

We've not been convincing away from home but we've managed to get results consistently. It'd be nice to put on a show away from home but three points are the main thing.

I expect Pereira, Diangana and Kanu to be restored to the starting line up today. I'm of the opinion that Ferguson needs a break. It will be interesting to see if we go with Furlong and Townsend at full back today.

You can't play the same 11 for all 46 matches - you need to give them breaks, otherwise they'll burn out or get injured.

We should have been able to make changes last night and still win.

IMO you play your best team till you can't. One game at a time and get points in the bag. I bet if Slaven could turn the clock back 24 hours knowing what he knows now he'd pick a different side.

As others have said really poor performance. Not sharp enough mentally, second to everything, slow to react, didn't seem switched on. Passing poor. Ferguson was shocking all game, Edwards poor particularly first half, Sawyers and Livermore never got into the game, Austin did nothing with the exception of a real quality finish for the goal. I blame Livermore for the goal he didn't close down, just lazily turned his back on the shot. Sort of summed up our night. Johnstone unlucky for me.

Pereira is absolutely massive for us.

Very risky team selection. If it works Slaven gets all the praise, if it doesn't he'll get the blame.

At least the next three games are going to be well attended. There are only 2,300 odd tickets left for Brentford on the 21st with eleven days till matchday and the Middlesbrough and Leeds games are well on the way to selling out, there are fewer tickets remaining for both games already than there are for the Brentford game. That's more like it.

Our support is absolutely pathetic, says somebody who isn't going... couldn't make it up. 😂😂

Read my post I have work I cannot get there. I work nights and I cannot book time off for every single away fixture especially when Sky keep changing dates. It's not people that can't get to games it's people who can't be bothered.

It's not only this game, top of the league beaten once in 20 games, playing super football, £20 a ticket, best start for a hundred years or whatever it is and yet there are more than 2,000 empty seats against Swansea. That for me just isn't on. Fair enough if some people genuinely can't make the game but most just won't make the effort to get out of their pyjamas because the game is on Sky. The home game before was the same as well.

I'm not the only one to criticise either there has been criticism on various social media outlets. Even Adrian Goldberg has had a pop (watch till the end). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDhDWubOhd4

Our support at the moment is absolutely pathetic. If I didn't have work I'd be there like a shot. Our fans don't deserve the team they have.

Probably the most improved player under Bilic, nice to see a leader on the pitch, something we have lacked possibly since McInnes but definately since Fletcher.

Either him or Kanu most improved. Bartley was great for half a dozen games but reverted to type yesterday, he was poor and somehow managed not to clear for the goal despite getting to the ball first.

Definitely Jake or Hal most improved.

We are selling out, give or take, when we are not on Sky TV and we are on Sky all the bloody time. The answer is in that sentence.

Agree with others he was fantastic yesterday. Would've been a worthy MOTM had Pereira not put in the best individual performance I can remember seeing in an Albion shirt.

It was justifiable the previous criticism but the praise Jake is getting now is equally justified.

Pereira was absolutely outstanding today. That's one of the best performances I've seen in an Albion shirt, he was absolutely levels above.

Swansea didn't help themselves they came to try and make it a pure football match and they are nowhere near as good as us at it. They weren't great at the back and not strong from set pieces. Even at 2-1 I knew we'd score more goals.

Magnificent!

With the likes of Krov, Hegazi, Barry, Austin, Edwards, Furlong not currently starting plus Brunt, Townsend, Zohore and Harper, who are all more than capable, we should be in a stronger position, than most, when the games pile up.

Scrap Harper he won't get a look in. Should sell him on , won't make the grade, not good enough.

Having seen the Liverpool squad for the club world cup...they effectively have a bye to the semi finals of the League Cup.

No one gives a fig about the League Cup. Even Blues won it.

He's not as important as Barnes was imo. The positive is West Ham aren't struggling in his position.

He's not as good as Barnes that's why although I do like Grady in his own right. Losing him in January would be a blow but as you say not critical. I don't think West Ham will recall him anyway.

More goals required perhaps?

That and lack of pace.
