Picking the likes of Dunk & Maguire whilst not picking Tomori is ridiculous. He must have seen how Dunk struggled against Lukaku at club level recently. Poor defensive picks means more cautious choices further upfield leaving the team playing with the handbrake on

If he was that good  wouldn’t he stand out in that midfield ? ……He didn’t !

Whilst I fundamentally don't disagree if you have the choice of bringing on Field/TGh or Chalobah/ Reach I know where I would.go but we can only the faith

Looking down on Field and TGH for playing for inferior teams is not fair to me
I have to say I didn’t see anything from TGH yesterday that would make me regret letting him go .

Comfortable win never really in any doubt. Bristol were very negative until the last 15 or so minutes. Townsend MoM for me and Bristols centre backs bot well in the running for moaner of the season award . TGH probably lucky not to see red after an early deliberate handball went unpunished.
M’Vila looked a player even in a very brief cameo, made a couple of solid challenges as well as playing a couple of decent passes , could well be useful over the last 8 games

I feel that moving from the Hawthorns would take some of the spirit from the club.
It's possible to extend the Halfords Road stand over Halfords lane by providing braced stanchions on the other side of the carriageway with traffic going underneath.  This is fancier engineering than the East Stand and would only be cost effective for a fairly large increase in capacity  - more than we can hope for in the near term.

The major problem is the poor rail and road services.  I used drive up from Hants and park near my grandfather's either in Old Hill (hardly any parking) or in Rowley Regis station but many of the trains out to Stourbridge don't stop there.  Surely WM trains could be persuaded to put stopping trains on on match days and evenings?

The same must go for all the other public transport services.

The real problem is when Sky moves a match then public transport can't react quick enough.
Most trains on that route stop at Rowley Regis

Harrison has been left what 4 years or so ? If they are now filching 16/ 17 year olds and younger I can’t see that leaving to work with him is a direct result of how good he is/was there has to be more in play I.e agents , accountants with brown envelopes for Daddy etc.

Totally agree
We missed him at QPR and first half at Huddersfield

MoM yesterday imo ! Was the only one at it from the kick off. A couple of his challenges prevented chances for Huddersfield to make it more than one at H/T

With the protection players get today he would be unplayable. Remember having seen him play against us coming out hate ground with Dad saying he’d seen a future England international and he wasn’t wearing stripes !

We will know how much he is going to be used by next weekend. If we are still without BTA , Maja etc against Bristol and Marshall still doesn’t get used in the enforced absence of Weimann then I can’t see where exactly he does get minutes on the pitch !

Dike, Phillips, Maja , Molumby, Townsend, BTA , Bartley plus a couple of fringe players = a very large injury list and it would be reasonable to expect some inconsistent and tired performances because of it.
Just shows despite his knockers on here and other sites how important Townsend is to us. Don't fancy any of his possible replacements against Sorba Thomas on Sunday !

picked the wrong team. The wrong time as well,,the new owner wouldn't  have been too enamored  with the players, or the manager quite frankly  on that showing.
His tweet would suggest otherwise !

3 points hard earned against a decent Coventry side. Haven’t been feeling too good this week and nearly didn’t go, Johnstone goal was better medicine than anything offered by the Docs !
Mowatt MoM for me just ahead of Peters . Okay had one of his poorer games whilst Reach was calmer and steadier than many around him. If we are going to take our wingers off we desperately need to hold onto the  ball up front better. We seemed to want to do things too quickly , flicking the ball off to nobody on many occasions.Curates egg of a performance from Diangana, some good , some bad and the victim of some dubious challenges from behind after the ball had gone which the ref seemed unwilling to punish. Hope Townsends injury isn’t too bad as the miles he does up and down will be missed if he’s absent.
Finally tremendous support for Mowbray from both sets of supporters, thoroughly deserved !

I don’t dispute the fact it is unlikely but it serves to highlight the incompetence of the suits running the professional game they could leave themselves open to the possibility of it happening !

Leicester and Coventry already into last 8 , Southampton and Leeds still have a chance of doing so. FA Cup Final is the day before Champioship play off final . Any of these make it to both what happens ?

Don’t discount the teams coming up . Could quite easily be Portsmouth , Derby and Bolton . 3 traditional clubs with decent sized fan bases

reasons for his poor distribution yesterday 1) lack of options 2) Hull pressed well as CC said they would 3) poor passes back to him meant he was playing on the stretch a lot of the time 4 ) pitch seemed very bobbly 5) he had a poor game GKs are allowed them to !

Bet nobody picked that XI in the sweep !! ;D Can't see it being 0-0 !! Wingers all over the pitch and still with the mighty Reach to come on and change the game !
