Does anyone know what time the day “starts” on the online system. I had a ticket in my basket online around 1am this morning after being late in from work. I only qualified for tickets today 1520 points. But the system would not let me buy it. There were a smattering if tickets left then. Just tried again - sold out. Frustrating. Just wondered if the day starts at 9am or something rather than midnight.

Unless we bring in 4/5 quality players we've got no chance of avoiding the drop.

No chance then; when do we do that kind of business in Jan?

Listening yesterday to Pat Murphy on R5 talking about the possible Newcastle takeover gave me shudders. £200m has been offered but Ashley wants £250m. Newcastle’s poor form has led to a stand-off; both sides know the club will only be worth around £100 as a Championship club.
So what is the value of WBAFC as a Championship club and what will Lai’s paper loss look like and what will his attitude be?

Pardew was a poor, unambitious, and very risky appointment. By contrast, see what Roy Hodgson has achieved at Palace - terrible start to the season before he came, squad confidence shattered, players looking awful, and look how he has them playing. THAT is what a good manager can do. The buck stops with Pardew, and 4 points from his first 8 games is awful. He was famous at Newcastle for his continual embarrassing excuses, never his fault, and is starting to sound exactly like that .

Pardew was available though wasn’t he? Can’t imagine a single fan wouldn’t have preferred Hodgson. Plus let’s be honest Palace have firepower we simply don’t have.

Is there a stato who knows the unwanted record of most number of games before first win as Albion manager? Genuine question.

There is a George Graham quote somewhere. I'm paraphrasing but he said that at a new club have a look around the dressing room and remember that it is these *****s that cost the last man his job. Reading Reid's quotes for example it feels like we need a Megson type character in to look into the eyes of our playing squad.
