I’d rather miss him for a month at the start than sell him.

Apparently it’s longer then a month , long term injury

is that confirmed at all? I find it strange that such a long term injury wouldn’t have resulted in him being substituted in the game and the injury being reported somewhere.

Matt Wilson thinks it's an ongoing ankle injury with no set timescale.

May just have aggravated it having played through the summer on the back of a hectic season.

I'm hoping he'll respond to post AFCON rehab'.

Chris Lepkowski was saying on Twitter 'up to' 4 months. So could be a lot sooner.

Have to replace him asap.
Bilic would already be pretty devastated considering we didn't keep JRod or Gayle, losing our starting CB on top would have him tearing out those few remaining hairs

Matt Wilson Twitter Account

Ahmed Hegazi could miss first few games of the season to receive treatment for an ongoing foot injury. Decision to be made next week. Also possible he will continue to play and fix it a later date

May not be as bad as first reported

Why would he make a statement like that though?

Just follow every Matt Wilson tweet. If you have the time look back at previous ones you'll see what I mean.

I do think you could play Livermore as a cb quite comfortably.

My view. Taxi out. Offers very little for me, certainly nowhere near enough. I just don't see what anyone sees in him, I really don't and I have tried to look at him objectively. Don't rate him or Harper. Harper being young I can give the benefit of the doubt, just but he shouldn't be a starter. Livermore, just no.

I think the issue I have with Livermore is that he never seems to positively influence a game directly. When we play well he seems to go unnoticed because he’s just moving the ball on. When we are struggling he can’t drive the team forward in the same way good central midfielders can and have to.

If Livermore was any good a PL team would have come in for him by now. Like most TP signings he is slow, immobile, old with little resale value and on big wages. So we end up stuck with a lot of them. Our PL results went downhill when Livermore replaced Yacob. He's rubbish and I think most of us realise it. Needs to lose two stone as well.

Has any one seen anything about how his rehabilitation is going?

I saw the video clip of him exercising with one foot/ankle/lower leg in plaster, any more details of what quite what the injury/problem was?

Didn't Slaven say six weeks for Hegazi in one of his interviews?

Wrap him up in cotton wool.

No need to rush his recovery.

He's vital to us.
