People keep going on how bad the squad is ,but really is it tha0t bad. I don't think Val as any idea how to use forwards surly with Grant ,Robinson,Dianga and now Carroll how are we not scoring goals even Hugill to a certain degree cannot be bad players it's got to be down to match day tactics and the coaching

As far as the fans calling for the managers head they should be careful what they wish for.

If he goes and we have to pay a large amount of compensation for the remainder of his contract then the board will do what they did when they sacked Darren Moore and just leave a caretaker manager in charge until the end of the season. We can't afford to pay the remainder of his contract and employ a new manager and possibly pay his current club compensation.  We are club not financially flush so it will be a situation of Morrison as caretake boss until the end of the season.

Then what do you get Mark Hughes ?, Steve Bruce ? , Neil Warnock ?   Really !!!

Just also need to point out that Albion fans hit a new low yesterday when they started singing " You're going to get sacked in the morning" to their own manager. Then started throwing seats onto the pitch. I've been a fan for 50 years and I've seen some bad managers, Don Howe, Ron Wylie, Alan Buckley, Bobby Gould to name a few but we never stooped that low. I'm just glad that I didn't renew my season ticket this year because I don't want to be associated with those so called fans .

You get out of life what you deserve and perhaps another 16 years out of the top flight is what we deserve like we had between 1985 and 2001.
You've never seen it this bad ? How about the demonstration with the coffin for Gould .Dennis Smith had to be kept in Halfords Lane  till it was all cleared and the pitch invasion after the Woking game to voice anger towards Talbot. I'm not condoning this kind of behaviour but sometimes enough is enough

He’s not played in 5 weeks, and only once in 8/9. He should be fine.
He did it for Barnsley last season

I felt we were weakened when Reach came on at the beginning of the second half.

Perhaps he may become more useful as the season progresses. Right now, I don’t see him making a huge impact.

Happy to be proved wrong on this one but is stinks of a if it’s free, then it’s for me Albion-esque signing.
Wish people would realise Free doesn't mean they haven't spent any money  ( signing on fees , agent fees ,  3 Yr contract on increased wages ) It all comes out the budget .Look at Watford 10 players in 2 million spent .

I admit this is perhaps really harsh but from my observations on admittedly very limited performances so far I get the feeling he is going be a really poor acquisition. Seems slow, limited and the one thing I thought he'd at least have, that being a decent delivery, has looked dreadful. Hope I'm proved wrong but I my gut instinct tells me he's a poor signing, even as a squad player. He is no left wing back, to be honest I'm not sure what he is, so I pray Townsend remains injury free.
Bl**dy hell he's only had 45 minutes and you're already hanging him out to dry ?

But we still have some way to the end of the transfer window, so how does he know this will be the highest bid? Villa will have spare funds, as will Leicester if Maddison leaves.  West Ham may still come in for him. Even Liverpool were rumored to be interested.
Because his agent knows he wouldn't get 100 grand a week off anyone else. Teams weren't actually queuing up for him . West Ham always say they're after players with no firm offer

Yeah it's over Twitter that it's a done deal at 20m euros paid in 2 x 10m Euro installments. Awful deal if true.
It's still a total of £17 million .Everyone is in dream land if you think we would get 30million

Could have been when I was looking then, I remember a spell where I was having a look at their side, containing the likes of Bannan, Rhodes etc and being surprised they were struggling and then seeing Reach on the bench and thinking back to his season of wonder goals. If he won his place back for the final run in then fair enough, I'm just not blown away by the deal as I felt we needed an upgrade in atleast one of the positions.

He adds versatility and he frees up money for cente forward/central midfield, I'm just struggling to get excited by his deal.
Not many got excited when GMac signed or Mulumbu and look what good signings they became. Trust

Exclusive: Dwight Gayle signals desire to fight for #nufc after TWO Championship moves break down.

#wba had agreed season-long loan with £15m permanent deal - but Gayle turned it down. Stoke also made bid. Details: https://t.co/SHXNlW9D0d  Well you can't say we didn't try .So he would rather keep the bench warm Oh well  onwards and upwards .Let's get behind the lads of 2019 COYB

Just seen this tweet from a fan, not a bad shout

#wba £10m + Livermore for Gayle. Bruce loves Livermore type players. That would be half of Gayles wages sorted then. Then keep Field...
That is one brilliant shout .Get on the phone to Downing Now!

Matheus Pereira is flying to England in order to complete a loan move to West Brom.

Sporting had been after a promotion-dependant obligatory buy clause - quoted at £9M by Record (🇵🇹) last week. Not known whether this still stands.
