Michael Oliver has improved an awful lot this season from what I've seen. Both Darren Cann and Sian Massey are personal favourites of mine, both very good at their roles. Cann also played his part in getting us to beat Villa, awarding us a penalty and getting Herd sent off  ;D

If the Premier League are that bothered about empty seats they should approach the clubs about ticket prices first!,i personally was an inch from buying Tring last year and the whole thing would have cost about £600.....dodged that bullet!

Just discovered something interesting,Via sat(most of our good streams have come from them this season) have announced they can only show one 3pm kick off from Saturday onwards however as their subscribers pay a lot of money for 380 live games they have set up an internet site called Via Play that will show all 3pm kick offs.Maybe if we are lucky enough we might get a link that way.
Personally i cant wait until the rights come up for renewal in 2013,likely to mean big changes in football.

I understand from another board that there is often a possibility of returns to the ticket office. Possibly worth a quick phone call?

Can remember going a couple of seasons back when we lost 2-1 when miller scored out goal. Terrible atmosphere from their fans. Our stand was fully packed out and made great noise. Wigan had about 3000 spread between 2 stands with the main stand opposite the away stand being completely empty. Was also really foggy. Hard to see the pitch at times.

Your well off the pace. I haven't looked that far down the table  ;D

Copying you? Ha. Now you mention it, I might have to start some tactical predictions in order to hold onto top spot.

They have had the better of us in recent years.

Looking at the head to head record though, we have never lost twice to them in a season. In fact, most seasons usually have 1 Wigan win and 1 Albion win, with the exceptions being Albion draws.

http://www.soccerbase.com/teams/head_to_head.sd?team_id=2783&team2_id=2744

So our turn to win then?

The 11 game win less streak has to end soon mind. Got a feeling it will be a draw and if not, a loss.

As far as i am aware there is only me going to the game from Devon.I will be catching the train from Exeter and changing at New Street due to arrive in Wigan for 11-45 which should give me enough drinking time.
Can someone advise me of a friendly away fans pub please because i will need to kill some time :D

Pub right outside the ground by the Asda. I think it called the robin or something like that. Gets taken over by Albion every years. Best place for me

People forget we had him in our 3-2 win over Arsenal when he had an excellent game, But we must keep condeming him for the Blackpool Game.

FIFA Referee at the age of 26. Having an excellent season, enough said.

True he did have a good game against Arsenal. One of the main things annoyed me was his decision to only book Almunia for his foul in that game (correctly in my opinion.) Yet he gave Pablo a straight red in the Blackpool fixture. No consistency. I haven't seen too much of him since although i'm hearing positive things.

Saw him ref the QRR vs Villa game at the start of the season. An easy game to ref and he still made a mess of it.

                             Foster
Jones           McAuley      Dawson       Ridgewell
                   Andrews    Mulumbu
Odemwingie       Morrison                 Thomas
                             Long

Marco hasn't done much wrong to be honest but I feel Long could hurt the Wigan defence. Plus I think Brunt isn't quite ready so would play Thomas over him if he is fit. Ridgewell has settled in well at left back and if Dawson is to develop he needs game. So I don't see the point of moving Ridgewell over when we have an under 21 international on the bench. If we were desperate for points I probably would have elected to bring Shorey in at left back for his experience and move Ridgewell over, but we're in a good position so give Dawson a chance. Also, if Jones isn't ready then Tamas to stay at right back.

Same as, except Scharner for Dawson & Tamas if Jones isn't fit

Speaking to my next door neighbour [Wigan season ticket holder, living in Wolverhampton?], this is the only pub very close to the ground that let's in away fans. I'll be in there Saturday!!
