Very pleased to win that considering how we usually seem to struggle with those near the bottom...
If it means we have to play the simple "we'll outscore you" game, then so be it. :-X ;D

Hegazi 2nd yellow, now off.
Got the ball? Corner at best.

Acceptable cautions for both offences to be honest, the first near the start was completely unnecessary. The second is pretty reckless and I'd usually expect a caution for that late in the game - though it's the type of challenge you can normally get away with if you received a caution more recently...

We had to win today, didnt matter how. So job done and happy.

Terrific game. We always looked good going forward but we didn't work hard enough out of possession and Hull caused us more problems than they should have.

Pereira was magnificent today and how good is O'Shea? Better than Ferguson, him playing up has been a blessing in disguise.

Ref was poor and the red card for Hegazi was an absolute joke.

Massive result.

Agreed about Johnstone being nervy.

Also think it's about mentality.  At 1-0 you've got to be hungry, crush them.  You don't sit back at 1-0 when you're playing an inferior team.

I'd rather us not play HRK again, not even as a sub.  No goal threat, we'd be better off giving 20mins to Zohore.  Also, complete waste that Robinson was an unused sub.

Thought Hull did well to be fair.

Grosicki always looks to go at his man, we’ve missed this ability in the side

Perreira clear man of the match

Good win, 3 points and 4 goals

All we can do is keep winning but that defence needs improving as does the keeper

Job done, but still some big question marks over this team. The keeper is still a massive concern. Losing Hegazi and possibly Gibbs is a hammer blow, and the threat at the top of the pitch all but disappeared when Austin went off. Thank goodness for our wingers and attacking mids.

Thought it was an error taking Sawyers off which he had to rectify about 10 mins later by introducing Brunt. But we regained control of the football quickly after this further change.

Pereira a clear man of the match.

At least he recognised it.

Gutted i'm at work and didn't see much as it sounded like a great game but had BBC WM on eventually and enjoyed that.

Get in there album, one more step done.

Yes. He nearly always is. We'd be mid-table without him.....I really hope we can keep him, but I do worry about the 'top-six' sniffing around.

our known weakness exposed again
Johnson awful command of 6 yard box, the worst I have seen him today
Midfield ball winner / tackler / header
A poacher like SKP would have loved today and bagged a few

Diangana looked better so thats good news, offset by Hegazi red.

Much better going forward.

11 points needed now from the last 5, barring any Brentford slip ups.

Just a thought on set piece defending or lack of today having spen the afternoon fishing the ball out of the bushes in the garden with grandkids I just wonder how much the wind was affecting situations oh and their first goal was a big deflection !  ;D ;D ;D

Defending a bit dicky, but another massive 3 points. Scored 7 in 2 games now need to keep playing positively. Enjoying a nice cold bottle of Banks :D.

Seven goals from two games. Our defending leaves a lot to be desired at times but I'll happily take the 'we'll score one more than you' philosophy.

Thrilling if nervy game and I have to say I hope Hull stay up.

I do hope Brentford and Leeds slip up a little but mostly I want us to get 15 more points!! No pressure.

I could see that coming. He got a cheap yellow card early on for standing in-front of the ball and then was fairly clumsy. He stamped on a Hull player around the hour mark on the edge of the box and got away with it. His sending off he stands on the player's trailing leg, he can't have any complaints for getting a second yellow. I'm looking forward to having Ajayi back in alongside Bartley. We looked so shaky from set pieces today, countless free headers for the opposition.

Just imagine Dwight Gayle as well as Grosicki getting on the end of those Piera through balls!
Maybe a way for him to make a mark in the Prem?

Great, great win and keep the gap on Brentford. Our defence needs to tighten up against Derby and keep the same starting line-up although Grady Diangana deserves to start now he’s buzzing agvain,

Ahmed Hegazi was having a superb game until his seeding off. Stupid first yellow for him showing lack of discipline. Thought Brunty did well when he came on. I will miss him especially if he goes to Stoke.

I thought, that overall, the Ref, Oliver Langford had a decent game today and tried to allow the game to flow, which made it more exciting for me

Agreed he actually was fairly kind to us second half. Hegazi stamped on their midfielder on the hour mark and would have walked if a foul was given against him. Bartley then committed a blatant hand ball on the edge of our own box and somehow the ref waived play on.

I’d like posters to know the rules on football, you posted to keep the same starting eleven then mentioned Hegazi’s red card

Sorry to break it to you, but Hegazi was the far superior centre-back today.

I thought that when Bartley was booked, the tv showed it was his 5th yellow, doe that mean that he’s banned for the Derby game as well as Hegazi?

Not convinced by Hegazi, something about his attitude I'm not keen on, don't think he is a big miss.
