50 points at Christmas. I would of snapped your hand off at the start of the season.

Exactly that. Boing Boing.

1st half not good enough, but we have improved in 2nd half .
A draw is not bad against a good Brentford side.
O'Shea looked composed and didn't look like it's his debut!

I'll take the draw, results have gone our way again bar maybe preferring Fulham and Leeds to  draw.

Two good footballing teams who dominated a half each but couldn't take their chances. Shout out to O'Shea for stepping up, difficult 3 to defend against on his league debut. Can't wait for Gibbs and Diangana to return, really missing their quality going forward.

Think we missed Diangana today and his link-up with Pereira plus our form in the last few games hasn’t been that good.
A draw against a good team giving us a three point cushion over Leeds is welcome although a five point gap would have been brilliant.
With them losing at Craven Cottage, is it the start of the usual Leeds usual second half of the season implosion and self destruction?  😂. Couldn’t happen to a nicer club!

12 points clear of Fulham, that's the equivalent to 4 wins and just under 10% of the seasons games

Oh and 20% of the games left in the season COYB!!!!

If we can go into the new year having only lost 1 and over 50 points that is amazing for the first half season in charge
the road to the summit has dips, keep the faith when navigating those dips !!

I think we played well 2nd half, got absolutely nothing off the Ref, some blatant free kicks missed. Foul count ended up 13 - 3 agaisnt us

Bit sloppy again all over the pitch though at times, but Brentford looked very good defensively

Overall a good result though and nice to see us grab a quick equaliser again.

Make no mistake, Brentford, on that performance are contenders for promotion
Agreed , strong candidate for play offs .
Better 2nd half , bit quicker on the ball but lacked that striker with pace .
Overall happy with the point but think Bilic got a sub wrong , leaving on HRK and eventually putting him wide left instead of Edwards didn't work at all to allow us to get Krov on.
Neither HRK or Austin had any service which tells you how well Brentford defended.

A good point on the day against a very good Brentford side, may have escaped a penalty first half, not sure the Austin goal was offside.

Poor first half brentford could have been a few up.
They score just as we are settling then we score a carbon copy of their goal right after. Second half much improved actually for once the subs didn't help the game. We lost all width having both Phillip's and Edward's off... (Phillips off form of late and diangana being injured/potential loan recall means we need another winger in January)

O shea looked very accomplished and if we can get him out on loan to a league one club (he did very well at Exeter in l2 last year) that would be very good for us.

I would have taken 4 points out of blues and brentford. 50 at halfway running at 2 goals a game. Havent lost in 13. 12 point gap to third cant fault that from slav and the lads.

Negstives: still no home clean sheet and bartley getting injured
O Albion we love you

We were poor but also I think that was due in part to Brentford being good. Best team I've seen us play so far.

The referee was an absolute joke.

O'Shea could go on loan in the championship. Steady display.

If we can back it up with a win away Boxing Day that’s a great 3 game return at a tricky time of the season.

Brentford were excellent with their no10 in particular, outstanding. I’m happy with a draw after that. As others have said OShea did really well but looks a little short in height for a centre back.

Don’t think we were at it today.

Performance very flat and the atmosphere was too I felt. Taking that into account and still coming with a point was pleasing.

That Brentford no10 should be bought... outstanding
It is a mistake to theorize before one has the facts. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.

First twenty minutes Brentford were all over us. Our fans didn't seem up for it and the players didn't really look at it. We didn't win any second balls and we continually failed to pick up Benrahma who kept drifting into pockets between our defence and midfield. We grew into the game and I don't agree with those saying we were lucky to get a point I thought we edged the second half and finished strongly.

Brentford will surely be in the play offs at the end of the season, they are useful.
