Wigan have lost their points appeal and are relegated

Disgraceful.

The EFL should be ashamed.

It looks like I'm the only person rooting for Brentford I think they've been brilliant this season - yes, their manager is a bit of a weapon, but the way they play footballing is a joy to see. They also have a loyal predominantly working class fanbase and aren't one of these tourist clubs (like Fulham).

He's not just any weapon, he's an industrial scale weaponised weapon. Given the football they play I was thinking I wouldn't mind him as our boss were Slaven Bilic to leave at any point. And then he started to appear in the press. Again, and again, and again...... and those eyes! What the heck's going on with those eyes? They must stretch to the size of giant beach balls when he's having a.......  :P .

That means the Antonee Robinson release clause kicks in. I wonder who will win that race?

AC Milan are reportedly back in for him, here's a list of other rumors relating to him......

I get the impression that a lot of animus against Brentford here is because through no fault of its own it has suddenly become the darling of the media and Albion  (following the Pulis era) is unfortunately not.

There's a lot of to admire about the way Brentford goes about things.  It's an old fashioned club with a UK-based owner - like we used to be.  As someone said above, Fulham is a trophy club in a fashionable part of West London.

Tonight’s match can be summed up like this

If it were stoke vs Brentford I’d be stoke
If it were wolves vs Brentford I’d be wolves
If it were villa vs Brentford .....I’d refuse to watch but want villa to lose

That’s how much Brentford have annoyed me
If youre going to get told off, get told off for doing something not for doing nothing..

Mitrovic only fit enough for the bench.

Fulham for me please, weaker of the two and I couldn’t bear the media vvankfest until mid-September over Brentford.

I'm hoping for Fulham. It would give us a chance to get Watkins. Not as bothered about Mitrovic who wouldn't fit in as well with Pereira etc.
Also, Fulham away is a nice day out by the Thames.

Brentford are the far better team right now but Fulham have the financial muscle to upgrade both players and at some point Head Coach so longer term a bigger threat.

0-0, Fulham on top, but patient to the point of ridiculous in their build up play. Brentford cannot get on the ball yet. 20 played.

We’ve got no chance of signing him, in my view

None of the top clubs will be in for him. Offer the 17m and see what happens.

30 mins gone. Fulham coping well, doesn't feel like Brentford have clicked yet, Harrison Reed & Cairney doing well for Fulham but Reed deservedly booked for going in with foot up.
Fulham need to take a few shots.

Fulham playing well but their build up is so slow and they look toothless. Brentford look off, but watch how quick they break. Their keeper always tries to initiate a quick break, while at the other end Fulham labour and are way too patient.

Mitro, Knockeart and Cavaleiro on the bench though. Dangerous.

Reed and Cairney running the midfield for Fulham but they have plenty of running but not a lot of quality up front.

Brentford forced to play mainly on the counter but they always have a threat on the break.

Intriguing. Wouldn't like to call this one.

Quite impressed by how Fulham move the ball around quickly. Odoi, Onomah, Kebano and Tom Kierney all decent players on the ball.

I think Knockaert is the sort who can make the difference in a cagey game like this.
