Oh definitely increases their revenue but won't cover his wages. I'm not fussed personally, football is insane but the owners are willing to do it so i wish them good luck.
Wasted in that league tbf, he can only influence the Champions League, yes PSG managed to cock up a one horse race last year but the league is usually a done deal before its kicked off there, he should have very inflated goal scoring/ assists figures this year.

Yes i believe he will do very well in that league. Not much talent depth there outside the top 2/3 clubs.

Re shirt sales. Not sure about the big boys but 75% of sales generally go to the manufacturers/suppliers.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Its not just shirts though, anything they can get Messi's name and face on now they will, obviously he will have his cut too, but there are a hell of a lot of marketing avenues opened up for them to take advantage of now.

Top keeper and only early 20s. There is a reason no one is in for SJ at a third of the cost.

If Sheffield United get £59m for Berge and Ramsdale then they'll be a different beast by the end of the transfer window.

Given what Sheff Utd paid for Ramsdale, it isn't a huge profit on him (initially anyway), but as Johnny says, if they get over £50m for him and Berge that's a lot of money to spend remodelling their squad.

No, don't get Ramsdale at all. £42m in fees across two windows I know English I know young but I just don't see it and I absolutely can't see him replacing Leno.

Just as well Lundstram joined Rangers on a free then really. Something which I admit had completely passed me by.

James Garner rejects Man Utd offer of new contract. Plenty of Champo clubs sniffing around.

Is he any good? What kind of midfielder is he?  Scored 4 in 20 while on loan at Forest last season.

Rumored to be very good, and a bit of an all action player I think.  I wonder if he might be the next off to Germany. If there is any chance he goes a to a championship club we should be in.

Thanks JC, Forest, Stoke and Sheff Utd interested apparently. Would require a fee as still under contract at moment so probably rules us out.

From the little i've seen and what i've read I think he would be perfect alongside Mowatt in our system. He did quite well at Forest last year. I remember he scored a belter against our u23's.

A superb player with an exceptional record considering how managers have deployed him since he left us.

Imagine how good he would be if he learned to control a football to go along with his other undoubted attributes. £100million is quite frankly an absurd fee for him.

That wasn’t on display in the Euros, still a pathetically poor first touch. As I said he has a lot of good things to his game but shows how poor the selection of centre forwards is at the moment that he is deemed worth £100m

He's not a hold up man, never has been despite a succession of managers using him as such due to his strength.

Whatever way you want to put it his record is 250 in 500 goals. You get what you pay for.
