I'm not sure we should put too many new players in at once, unless during the international break they have trained the house down and the coaching staff are confident they are up to speed with our systems or structures.

Doesn't matter how good a player you are, playing within a new team always takes time to gel.

GK, Gibbs, Burke and to a lesser extent Evans & Chadli (because they haven't played much recently) will need some time before we get fluent in the way the side performs.

Many of us are expecting three points against Brighton. I'd settle for a point but would be going all out for three points at home against West Ham the week after.

Chadli to come on if we need to be more attacking.

It's amazing that not so long ago we had a midfield of Yacob, Gardner and Morrison.

Bit different to the one you have picked there Bry. :)

I can't see him dropping Livermore unfortunately ... I think the midfield will be Barry, Gregg, Livermore with Phillips and Brunt wide.

I can see Rondon being on the bench for this one. He played for Venezuela last night against Argentina (1-1), which means he will not be back training until late(r) this week. Aside of injury concerns TP has previously referred to this as being an issue.

I hope he does start on the bench as his form when returning from Internationals is always awful...partly I'm sure to do with jetlag. Rodriguez is a better option up front.

Given that we're away I think he'll play a flat three in midfield (hope I'm wrong and he goes with an ATM)

Therefore it'll be something like

                              J Rod
Brunt/McClean                              Phillips

              Barry.     GK.  Livermore

Chadli and Burke to come on if we're not winning. Ron don may not even get a game. Kanu isn't as good big picture, but he's on better form so he might trot on too
Whenever things look bad, remember the Port Vale, Grimsby and Walsall days... not so bad now, eh?!

He appears to be considered a card happy ref.
So far this season he has reffed two championship games and shown 7 yellows, last season he showed 133 yellows and 3 reds in 40 games (including 4 yellows in our game with Southampton which was also the only Prem game he reffed).

Maybe if enough people put him in their teams/on the bench he might get un-suspended?

I think you are being way to adventurous in your selections, TP will want to view and indoctrinate the new players on his methods. Expect Evans to play, Livermore, Brunt and probably Morrison to feature. Nyom and Dawson will be a big decision. Burke and Chadli may make the bench. Rondon will be "tired from travelling" so safety first for this away match from TP.

Nyom, Daws, Evans, Brunt
Phillips, Barry, Livermore, Morrison, McClean

I'm of the opinion that Viler supporting fourth official Andre Marriner shouldn't be anywhere near an Albion game in any kind of official capacity whatsoever. Claret and spew toss off.

SOTV  8) .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

I think pulis will go;

Foster
Nyom Dawson Evans gibbs
               Barry
Phillips krychowiak Livermore brunt
               J rod

Plenty of protection for the full backs in brunt and Phillips.

I'd swap Brunt for McClean as McClean would offer more protection and more pace going forward. Brunt offers more from dead ball situations but they haven't been great for us so far this season.

My first ever trip to Brighton and the Amex Stadium, just wondering any ideas on where's best to park? I notice on the ticket it has 'subsidised travel included' on it, what does this mean? Thanks in advance.

I went to watch Brighton last year and caught a bus from the town centre, it took about 15 minutes. I think the match day bus up to the ground was either free or very cheap, had one or two beers so memory not great. There were a few car parks near the ground but didn't hold that many cars from what I could see, you would need to get there early. The bus back to the town centre was a nightmare though, loads of queues took us about an hour to get back after the game.

Hi Sammy.

Parking is difficult around the ground as it's a green belt area and it's best to park away from Falmer.

The matchday ticket includes travel within a certain radius. The subsidised travel runs from 11:30am-9pm.

As things stand I think I shall drive and park at Lewes Railway Station. It's £6.10 for up to 24 hours. It takes about 10-15 minutes on train from
Lewes to Falmer.

There are alternative stations with decent pubs around Burgess Hill. If you wish to see some of Brighton - it's best to go to Brighton Station.

The station nearest to the Amex Stadium is Falmer Station.

Looking forward to see what team pulis picks will he be ultra cautious and pack the midfield and stick one upfront or will he be more positive?
