I bet Tamworth are looking forward to hosting Tottenham though. Imagine if they pull that one off. Even a draw would be brilliant given the replay at Tottenham's new ground. Oh yeah............. what replay?

Replays are too tiring, but the Club World Cup nonsense thousands of miles away is fine...!

Scotland have been abysmal.  Stank the place out.

They're really shouldn't let these minnows qualify for the main tournament.  :D

In all seriousness, the quality of the tournaments has suffered since expansion to 24 teams. Last night was a great advert for reverting to 16 teams. It was a must win game for both sides yet it was a dreadful watch.

The World Cup with 48 teams will be a farce.

Blimey everyone.

He will either go or stay.

Nothing we can do but wait.... as per.

Might as well just close the thread then...?

Leeds won't be fearing either of these sides.

3-3 Good game but we need to beat Preston now.

Just need to avoid defeat unless Hull win by double figures.

Absolutely pointless finishing top 6 in this form.

Wouldn't surprise me if they called it off and chucked both clubs out

I think most likely is awarding them the win, but I would laugh if they got booted out.

A terrible ko time.

They were on about an am ko time of the wm phone in and if you could recall, and I think I remember going to an 11.30am, but can't be certain.

Pretty sure it was against Blues? An odd one to have such an early kick off for.

Possibly but Baggies v Wolves is the biggest game I the West Midlands for most football fans.

If you're not from the northwest or London, the mainstream media don't care.

Sunderland v Newcastle was picked in the third round so maybe that a precedent.

That was always a guaranteed tie, us v Wolves isn't.

Bizarre ITV didn't comment on the draw; they really do know sweet fa about football.

This is why I'm not convinced we'll be on TV if we play Wolves. Priority will be given to all PL ties, any ties involving the big sides, and a token game or two for the lower leagues.

Plus it's dependent on the replay. The TV picks will have happened before then.

I fear the long winless streak for the Dingles at the Hawthorns will be coming to an end.

The media build up in the last few days has been arrogant to the max. You'd think our name was already on the trophy before the final. Guessing the bank holiday and damehoods are off now?

I also never want to hear "you don't get the same cheating and rolling around that you do in the men's game" again. The Spanish women are as bad as any men's team I've seen.

I think if a manager is able to achieve incredible results at every step of the ladder, and 4 major tournament finals in a row, that probably does need to be looked at and respected. I'm not 100% sure how to judge managing in the womens game. I understand players would struggle in the mens game to biological reasons, but managing at the top level of the Women's game and at non league level strike me as having differences in proffesionality, pressure and in scope.

As I say, at some point, a record like that is going to get too hard to ignore for a club like Brentford, Ajax, or even maybe the Netherlands mens national team.

I think some are getting way too carried away here. The depth in quality in the men's game is far greater than in the women's. The gap between the best ranked and worst ranked side in the Women's World Cup is enormous compared to the men's. The Lionesses are only able to beat what's in front of them, but the men face far tougher opposition earlier in the tournament.

This is not the Wolves I had known since I began supporting the team from season 1953/54. which is 70 seasons ago now, only the Bhatti years were worse than the current administration. Are they working to destroy our love to this club?

They were kissing backsides not long ago  :D

Didn't they get to a European quarter final just a few years ago?!

Have to be one of the favourites to go down now.

Seeing the likes of Gary Neville criticising the Saudi clubs makes me laugh. He didn't care when top PL clubs (including his beloved United) did exactly the same for the last 30 years.

Getting slightly worried as my ticket for this still hasn't arrived. They only went on general sale on Saturday and the only delivery option was post. Looking forward to this as it'll be my first away game since Covid!

League Two Bradford got to a cup final and managed to get promoted. This whole "I would rather focus on the league" is rubbish.

I disagree. I know a lot of Brazilians and they are very expressive/vocal people. Dare I say it, they're also happier than us Englishmen. I think it's just a cultural difference where they're like that and are less reserved. As for some of the south American countries displays after losing (including Brazil) - I would say that was disrespectful.

Do a dance, celebrate, fine. But to drag out for 2 mins and involving the subs, the coaches etc while your opponents wait to get the game restarted? It's unnecessary and cringeworthy.
