Will we do it? of course we will and I see us winning all of our play off games.

Well I admire your optimism, got to hand that to you.

I don't understand how, striker or not, we can put in a performance like we did against Leicester and then bottle 'easier' games. That is why we are not good enough.

I'm not sure what we are expecting next weekend.

Does anyone think, for one minute, we have it in us to win all of our playoffs?

No attack. No finish.

Would absolutely love to eat these words but we have fizzled.

I laughed at you for this but i'd snap your hands off now

I actually can't see it right now either.

I was unable to watch the game today but I did have a horrible feeling about it in advance.

Glad I couldn't see it, sounds like high farce.

We need some big changes in the squad this summer. First time I've doubted Carlos too.

Sheffield Wednesday will be looking for a win to ensure survival
This will not be an easy game and because I’m a Baggies supporter of many years standing I will expect an unpredictable performance  :o

I quite agree. I just hope the grit Albion showed yesterday can translate into a couple of goals. Oh for a striker.

This explains a few decisions today

Declarations of interest should be compulsory for officials. He should not have been refereeing. Come to think of it he wasn't really was he....

True enough and all we can do is turn up. Think I'd prefer Leeds or Ipswich over Leicester or Saints

On that I do definitely agree!!

Saints are the best team in this league for me now after seeing Leicester twice.

Sadly it looks like we play them a s3rd Vs 6th

Yes it does, Gaz. But we have to win them all anyway and after today's performance I feel we'll give it what we have, can't say more than that.

I was a bit harsh on Albion in game; we were in fact excellent, but Townsend let us down big time and I cringe every time he is on the pitch. He's about as much use as a chocolate fireguard and I will rejoice when he finally goes.

I think Leicester will struggle in the Prem and their table position flatters them. Best side in this league, this year, for my money is Southampton.

I realise we could actually not make the playoffs theoretically but I'm not flustered about that. We have some talent in the squad, we have a fabulous manager and an owner who is looking forward. Wherever we are next season I really look forward to it.

Terrible refereeing. Should be sent off.

That's harsh man (about us having our tummies tickled) - we've played really well and on any other day would probably have scored 3 or 4.  Sometimes it just won't go in.

No you are right, just upset that we don't make those opportunities count.

Just cannot stand Townsend and it's colouring my opinion today.

I don't ever want to see Townsend in our stripes again. I know I will but he is beyond dreadful.

So many chances for us today but we are toothless. There's no aggression about us at all. We just roll over and have our tummies tickled.

He’s our worst player by a country mile

Absolutely.

I'll have nothing said against the lad.

He gives it his all and I think he will get better.

By no means an out and out striker, we know it and he knows it, but you cannot deny what he has contributed to this season.

He just wasn't very good

Maybe, but he was better than anything before him since Clarke in my opinion. We were a busted flush by then, and with a decent squad too.

I'd rather have Eddie Grant instead of Karlan, whether he wants to dance or not.

Got to be a certain age to appreciate that joke, but spot on Igor!

Best referee I have ever experienced when he came on for the Mozza/ Brunty game.

Old adage. Never bet on or against the Albion as you never know what you're going to get. Sempre te fallant and all that. COYB  8) .

True but my motto, in the words of Fletcher from Porridge:
'numquam nothi tere te' (more or less).

I'm clinically insane. I've just had a flutter on us being promoted.

I'm going to be hurt twice aren't I?

I was going to bet on us staying down (a sort of comfort blanket) but they couldn't give me the odds....

Could do with a miracle for this one. Carlos' middle name isn't 'Jesus', is it?

He's a grafter and doesn't quit.

He's been a bargain and I think he will continue to be useful going forward. We need strikers in the squad so he can be played out wide.

Comfortable without really getting out of 2nd/3rd gear.  Important to give M'Vila, Maja, Philips and Reach more minutes.
Reach had a good game and was probably man of the match.

I'm normally berating the use of Townsend and Reach but I agree he was excellent in that game. I'd be happy to see more of that. My wife was killing herself laughing at me for saying how good Reach was - "I can't believe you're saying that!"

I love being wrong. Sometimes.

Doesn't really alter their season. Its Norwich, Coventry who might have lost out.

Well absolutely but if that decision had been against us I'd have been incensed. Not bothered about Norwich, Coventry, it's up them to win their games as much as it is up to us to win ours. I'm just feeling a bit of injustice, doesn't sit well at all.
