I'm afraid that it will be a real seize mentality...TP is under pressure...blaming everything but his team selections...I can see Lambert upfront on his own ...the objective will be secure a point at all costs. ..it's not going to be pretty...but when is it ever..!!!

I don't think a point will be enough not with stoke, Chelsea and Southampton coming up.

Newcastle form is turning. We are rubbish at home. I think we will concede within the first 20 and then lose on or two nil.

I hope I'm wrong though.

Don't think TP is under much pressure. There may be a few of us on here who are becoming increasingly livid about his approach, but in the main he is the 'safe pair of hands' and the media seem to love him and never question why he plays the way he does, so it would be a big move for Peace to sack him, even if we are in the bottom three with 5 games to go.

new television rights may force peace to act and TPs failure to use squad at his disposal. The transfer window could be the last straw either peace gets rid of TP walls

New tv rights is the reason Pulis is ideal for Peace

Myhill

Chester/Dawson
Evans
Olsson
Brunt

Sessegnon
Fletcher
Yacob
Morrison

Lambert
Berahino

Subs:
Lindegaard
McAuley
Gamboa/Chester
Gardner
McManaman
Gnabry
Anichebe

I can't see too many changes. Two games in 3 days as a convenient excuse to leave McAuley out to accommodate Evans. I've only put Chester in as Dawson did pull up with a bit of a problem yesterday so despite carrying on they might not risk him with so little recovery time.

I think Pulis will take this opportunity to go with two strikers again as a way to make up for missing Rondon and McClean.

If Dawson is injured I think he will play Gardner at right back before Chester or even our squad right back Gamboa.

This feels like its a big fixture for Pulis. His squad selection and approach to the game will be under the microscope.

I'm dreading both, though I do think Sess will play and I'd be surprised if Lambert is fit enough to start, but other than that I think its likely the team will remain unchanged. I have a growing feeling there will be another bizarre 'out of position' selection though - Gardner at right back, or playing Morison up front.

Chester was pretty much ready to come on yesterday until Dawson told them he was alright so that's why I think he'll get the nod. No chance of Gamboa playing though.

Pulis's team of choice. Using his favourite 9-1 formation.
Gardner will be sent on a scouting mission way into the centre circle of our half.....
and to rush back to tell the rest to defend and not to get involved.

0-2, FGS Perez

They seem to have turned a corner, while we've hit a pothole and knackered the suspension.

I really don't know how I'd like us to line up because I can't think of a good rotation for the squad that neutralises Newcastle and also puts us on a firm footing to win the game. Instead, this is how I think Pulis will have us line up:

Myhill

Dawson (Chester if not fit)
McAuley
Evans
Brunt

Gardner
Yacob
Fletcher
Morrison

Sessegnon

Berahino
Dexy : LiamTheBaggie : MarkW : OldburyWBA
Adder : Hull Baggie : lewisant : Political Cake : tommcneill

1-0 Albion.

Pulis to batten down the hatches and we'll nick a scrappy goal.
